Las Vegas, Henderson, Summerlin and everything in between. Newer tract housing means clean wood framing — and the recessed media niche above the fireplace that almost every builder here left behind.

Most of the valley was built after 1990, which makes Las Vegas one of the easier markets to mount a TV in: wood studs, half-inch drywall, predictable 16-inch spacing. The complication is not the wall, it is the builder's media niche — that recessed alcove above the fireplace in Summerlin, Anthem, Seven Hills and Mountain's Edge. It was sized for a 2006 television, and a modern 75" needs a low-profile mount, a careful depth check and sometimes a decision about whether the niche gets opened up.

We measure the niche, bring low-profile and tilting plates that fit inside it, and tell you honestly when a screen simply will not sit in there without drywall work. Above the firebox we check surface temperature before drilling — the direct-vent fireplaces common in newer builds here run hotter at the niche floor than people expect.

High-rise condos on and around the Strip are concrete and metal studs, and they have building rules: we handle the certificate of insurance and the service-elevator booking. Everywhere in Clark County is the same price with no travel fee, and same-day slots are open seven days a week.

Building paperwork is our job, not yours

Summerlin, Anthem and Green Valley HOAs are generally straightforward about interior work, but the Strip-adjacent high-rises are not: most want a certificate of insurance on file and a reserved service elevator before a contractor comes up. We issue the COI naming the association as additional insured and book the elevator window ourselves — just give us the building contact when you book.

  • Certificate of insurance naming your association, usually same day
  • Service elevator and loading dock booked by us
  • Background-checked, uniformed technicians
  • Drop cloths down, dust vacuumed, packaging taken away

“Two other companies told me the 75" would not fit the niche. Mykyta measured it, brought a low-profile plate and it fits with room to spare. He also checked the heat above the fireplace, which nobody else mentioned.”

“Fast, tidy and exactly the quoted price. The soundbar is centered under the TV and the TV remote controls the volume now, which I did not know was possible.”

“Both rooms done in one visit and every cable is gone. He used a proper in-wall power kit instead of running an extension cord behind the drywall — I asked specifically because the last installer did not.”

The walls we actually find in Las Vegas

Different market, different walls. The hardware changes with the wall; the result does not.

Wood studs and drywall (post-1990)

The default valley wall and the easy one: 16-inch centers, half-inch board, lag bolts into two studs.

Builder media niches above the fireplace

Summerlin, Anthem, Seven Hills, Mountain's Edge. We measure the alcove, use low-profile plates that fit inside it, and say up front when a big screen will not fit without opening the niche.

Concrete and metal studs in Strip high-rises

Rotary hammer into concrete, snap-toggles into steel partitions. Cables go in a raceway, not inside concrete.

Stucco patios and pool areas

Covered patios get weather-rated mounts, stainless hardware and a placement out of the afternoon sun — 110° and direct light kill an indoor TV fast.

Block perimeter walls

Common on outdoor kitchens and courtyard walls. Masonry sleeves into the block, sealed cable entry, no exceptions.

TV mounting in Las Vegas — questions we get

Still unsure? Call (877) 676-8880 — a person answers, 8am–8pm.

How much does TV mounting cost in Las Vegas?
A flat $119 for TVs up to 60 inches, $129 for 61–85 inches and from $179 for 86 inches and up; each additional TV in the same visit is from $40. Most valley homes are wood-framed, so the cables can usually go inside the wall for $69; a paintable raceway is $39.
Will a 75" TV fit in my builder media niche?
Often yes, but it depends on the alcove. Send a photo and the niche measurements with your request, or we measure on arrival — we carry low-profile plates that fit inside most Summerlin and Anthem niches. When a screen genuinely will not fit, we tell you before drilling rather than after.
Is it safe to mount above a direct-vent fireplace?
With a temperature check first, yes. Newer Las Vegas fireplaces run hotter at the niche floor than people expect, so we measure the surface before we drill and use a tilting or pull-down mount to keep the screen out of the rising heat.
Do you go to Henderson, Summerlin and North Las Vegas for the same price?
Yes — the whole valley is one price, and there is no travel fee. We cover everything within about 80 miles of Las Vegas, including Boulder City, Pahrump and Mesquite.
Can you mount a TV on my covered patio?
Yes. Patio installs get a weather-rated mount, stainless hardware and a sealed cable entry, and we place the screen out of direct afternoon sun. If the TV is not an outdoor model we will tell you what that means for its lifespan here.
Can you come out today anywhere in the valley?
Usually yes, and the valley is the easiest market we work for it — one crew covers Las Vegas, Henderson, Summerlin and North Las Vegas, so a cross-town call is still a same-day call. Slots run seven days a week, 8am–8pm; pick one in the calculator and we confirm by text.
