TV Mounting in Houston, TX

Greater Houston on one price list — the Inner Loop, Katy, Sugar Land, The Woodlands, Pearland and Clear Lake. Brick-and-stone fireplaces, Galleria and Uptown high-rises and covered patios that have to live through a Gulf Coast summer are what we mount on every day.

TV mounting and installation in Houston is flat-rate: $119 up to 60", $129 for 61–85" and from $179 for 86" and larger, plus $40 for each additional TV. Mounts from $39, cables hidden in a raceway for $39 or inside the wall for $69. No travel fee and no surcharge for brick or stone.

Houston builds out, not up, and almost everything outside the Loop follows the same recipe: a slab foundation, wood studs and drywall inside, brick veneer outside. That is good news for a TV — two studs and lag bolts hold anything to 85 inches — but the fireplace wall is where Houston homes get interesting. Brick and stacked-stone surrounds run up most living-room chimney breasts from Katy to Kingwood, and we anchor into the masonry itself, never into a mortar joint.

Inside the Loop is a different city. River Oaks, Montrose and the Heights mix 1920s–1940s bungalows with plaster over lath, and the Galleria and Uptown towers have concrete columns and metal-stud partitions, with building managers who want paperwork first. Outside, the humidity is the enemy: a patio TV here needs an outdoor-rated screen, stainless hardware and a cable entry sealed against months of wet heat and hurricane-season storms.

We cover about 80 miles out from downtown — The Woodlands and Conroe to the north, Katy and Fulshear to the west, Pearland, League City and Galveston to the south — with no travel fee anywhere in that circle and same-day slots seven days a week.

Building paperwork is our job, not yours

Galleria, Uptown, Downtown and Medical Center high-rises almost always ask for a certificate of insurance naming the association and a reserved service elevator, and many limit contractor hours. We issue the COI and book the elevator ourselves. Master-planned communities like The Woodlands, Cinco Ranch and Sienna mostly care about the exterior — an outdoor TV visible from the street may need approval, so send us the rules and we mount to them.

  • Certificate of insurance naming your association, usually same day
  • Service elevator and loading dock booked by us
  • Background-checked, uniformed technicians
  • Drop cloths down, dust vacuumed, packaging taken away

“Brick fireplace and a 75" TV — Taras found solid brick instead of the mortar and angled the screen down so nobody cranes their neck. Cables hidden in the side wall. Great job, exactly the quoted price.”

“Living room, game room and an outdoor TV on the patio. Yurii explained why the patio one needs stainless hardware in this humidity and sealed the wall where the cable goes in. Drove up with no extra fee.”

The walls we actually find in Houston

Different market, different walls. The hardware changes with the wall; the result does not.

Brick and stacked-stone fireplace surrounds

The standard Houston living-room wall, from Katy to Kingwood. We anchor into the brick or stone faces themselves — never a mortar joint — check the heat above the firebox and pull-test every anchor.

Plaster and lath in Inner Loop bungalows

River Oaks, Montrose, the Heights, West U. Plaster cracks if you drill it like drywall: we score it, drill slowly and find the studs behind the lath before anything carries weight.

Wood studs and drywall on slab-foundation homes

Almost every suburban build from Cypress to Pearland. Lag bolts into two studs, level, pull-tested.

Covered patios in Gulf Coast humidity

Outdoor-rated screens, stainless hardware and a sealed cable entry, mounted high under the cover and out of wind-driven rain.

Concrete and metal studs in Galleria and Uptown towers

Rotary hammer into concrete, snap-toggles into steel studs, the building's insurance paperwork and service elevator sorted before we arrive.

TV mounting in Houston — questions we get

Still unsure? Call (877) 676-8880 — a person answers, 8am–8pm.

Can you mount a TV on a brick fireplace in Houston?
Yes — it is the most common living-room job we do here. We drill into the brick or stone faces, not the mortar joints, use sleeve anchors rated for masonry and check the surface temperature above the firebox first. If the TV would sit too high to watch comfortably, we say so before drilling and suggest a tilting or pull-down mount.
Can an outdoor TV handle Houston humidity?
An outdoor-rated one can. We mount it under a solid patio cover with stainless-steel hardware and a sealed cable entry, high enough to stay out of wind-driven rain. A regular indoor TV on a humid patio usually fails within a season — we will tell you honestly if that is what you have.
Are Katy, The Woodlands and Pearland the same price as Houston?
Yes. Katy, Sugar Land, The Woodlands, Conroe, Pearland, League City and Galveston all cost what the Inner Loop costs — no travel fee anywhere inside the service area, which reaches about 80 miles out from downtown.
Can you work in a Galleria or Uptown high-rise?
Yes. We send the certificate of insurance naming your association, book the service elevator and work to the building's hours. Concrete gets a rotary hammer and concrete anchors, metal studs get snap-toggles rated for the TV's weight.
How fast can you get to my side of Houston?
Usually same-day or next-day, seven days a week, 8am–8pm. Crews start from the Energy Corridor, the north side near Spring and the Bay Area, so Katy, Kingwood and Clear Lake get the same windows as downtown. Pick a time in the calculator and we confirm by text.
