TV Mounting in San Diego, CA

San Diego County on one price list — La Jolla, Pacific Beach, Carlsbad, Escondido, El Cajon and Chula Vista. Stucco-and-frame homes, salt-air patios and downtown condo towers are the local work, and earthquake country means every mount is anchored to hold, not just to hang.

TV mounting and installation in San Diego is flat-rate: $119 up to 60", $129 for 61–85" and from $179 for 86" and larger, plus $40 for each additional TV. Mounts from $39, cables hidden in a raceway for $39 or inside the wall for $69. No travel fee and no surcharge for stucco or concrete.

★★★★★ 4.9★ from 480+ reviews 1,090+ TVs mounted in San Diego Same-day slots, 7 days a week No travel fee — one price across the area

Most of San Diego is wood framing with stucco outside and drywall inside, which is easy to mount on — but this is earthquake country, and a TV that only hangs is not enough. We land every lag bolt in solid studs, use mounts rated well above the screen's weight and add a safety strap to full-motion arms, so shaking cannot lift the TV off its bracket.

The coast has its own rules. Salt air in Pacific Beach, Point Loma, Coronado and Oceanside corrodes ordinary steel fast, so patio and balcony TVs get stainless hardware, an outdoor-rated screen and a spot out of direct afternoon sun. Downtown, Little Italy and the Gaslamp add high-rise condos with concrete walls, metal studs and HOA paperwork, and older neighborhoods like North Park and Mission Hills still have plaster over lath.

We cover about 80 miles across the county — from Oceanside and Fallbrook in North County to Chula Vista and Imperial Beach in the South Bay, and east to El Cajon, Alpine and Ramona — with no travel fee anywhere in that area and same-day slots seven days a week.

Building paperwork is our job, not yours

Downtown, Little Italy and La Jolla condo buildings usually require a certificate of insurance naming the HOA and a reserved elevator, and many limit work hours. We issue the COI and book the elevator ourselves. Master-planned communities in Carmel Valley, 4S Ranch and Eastlake often regulate anything visible from outside — a patio or balcony TV may need approval, so send the rules and we mount to them.

  • Certificate of insurance naming your association, usually same day
  • Service elevator and loading dock booked by us
  • Background-checked, uniformed technicians
  • Drop cloths down, dust vacuumed, packaging taken away

“I asked about earthquakes and Maksym actually had an answer — bolted into the studs and added a strap on the arm. Clean install, cables in the wall, fair price.”

The walls we actually find in San Diego

Different market, different walls. The hardware changes with the wall; the result does not.

Stucco-and-frame homes

The county standard from Clairemont to Escondido. Drywall inside, studs at 16 inches, lag bolts into two studs with mounts rated well above the TV's weight.

Earthquake-safe mounting

Every bolt in solid wood, mounts rated well above the screen and a safety strap on full-motion arms, so the TV cannot jump off its bracket in a quake.

Salt-air patios and balconies

Pacific Beach, Point Loma, Coronado, Oceanside. Stainless hardware, outdoor-rated screens and sealed cable entries — ordinary steel rusts within a season on the coast.

Concrete and metal studs in downtown condo towers

Downtown, Little Italy, the Gaslamp, Bankers Hill. Rotary hammer into concrete, snap-toggles into steel, COI and elevator booked ahead.

Plaster in older coastal and uptown homes

North Park, Mission Hills, Kensington, La Jolla. 1920s–1950s plaster over lath: slow drilling, anchors in the studs behind it, no cracks.

TV mounting in San Diego — questions we get

Still unsure? Call (877) 676-8880 — a person answers, 8am–8pm.

Are your TV mounts safe in an earthquake?
We mount for earthquake country. Every lag bolt goes into solid studs, mounts are rated well above the TV's weight, and full-motion arms get a safety strap so shaking cannot lift the TV off its bracket. We never hang a TV on drywall anchors alone.
Can you mount a TV on a patio near the ocean?
Yes. Salt air corrodes ordinary steel quickly, so we use stainless hardware, an outdoor-rated screen and a sealed cable entry, mounted under the cover and out of direct afternoon sun. An indoor TV outside on the coast rarely lasts a year — we will tell you honestly.
Can you mount on the stucco outside my house?
Yes. We drill through the stucco into the framing behind it, seal every hole so water cannot get in and route the cable through the wall or in a paintable raceway.
Do North County and the South Bay cost the same as San Diego?
Yes. Carlsbad, Oceanside, Escondido, Poway, El Cajon and Chula Vista all cost what La Jolla costs — no travel fee anywhere in the service area, which covers about 80 miles across the county.
How soon can you get to me in San Diego County?
Usually same-day or next-day, seven days a week, 8am–8pm. Crews start from Mission Valley, North County and the South Bay, so Oceanside and Chula Vista get the same windows as downtown. Pick a time in the calculator and we confirm by text.
