Carmel Valley spreads across mesa tops from the original streets near Del Mar Heights Road to newer Pacific Highlands Ranch, with canyon open space in between. Homes here mean tall family-room walls, builder TV niches and gas fireplaces. Oleksandr's crew comes up SR-56 the same day and hides the wiring the way you planned.
TV mounting in Carmel Valley is flat-rate: $119 up to 60", $129 for 61–85" and from $179 for 86" and larger, plus $40 for each additional TV. Mounts from $39, cables hidden in a raceway for $39 or inside the wall for $69. No travel fee and no surcharge for stucco or concrete.
Family homes have open family rooms with gas fireplaces and pre-wired TV niches. We check heat and blocking, mount into two studs with a safety strap on articulating arms, and run cables inside the wall ($69). TVs over fireplaces.
Media rooms take 85 to 100-inch screens. 86 inches and up start at $179 with two technicians and a heavy-duty mount. Big TVs.
Formal living rooms get a Samsung Frame flush to the wall, with the One Connect box in a cabinet. Frame TVs.
Covered patios get outdoor-rated TVs with stainless hardware under a solid roof — close enough to the coast that salt air matters. Outdoor TVs.
23,735 homes and about 60,768 residents. The age and type of a home decide what is behind the drywall, so we check this before we quote.

The median home here was built in 2001, and 42.8% went up between 1980 and 1999, so nearly every TV wall is wood studs behind drywall, often with builder blocking in the niche. Two-story family rooms hide fire blocks partway up the bay, which we plan around before cutting. With 65.2% of homes heated mainly by gas, the fireplace wall is usually a framed chase, and we always test its heat before choosing a height.
Carmel Valley grew in stages. Ground broke in 1983 after opposition from residents and environmentalists, and the plan kept houses on the mesa tops while canyons stayed open. In 1999 building rights shifted to Pacific Highlands Ranch so about 300 acres could become preserve, and after SR 56 reached I-15 in 2004 the newer streets filled fast. In the 1980s and 1990s neighborhoods we find plain stud walls and fireplaces that mostly burn gas logs, so a heat test and a tilting mount are routine. Pacific Highlands Ranch homes, including the 56-home gated Artesana by Pardee, often come with a niche and conduit to the media cabinet. On the estate lots of Del Mar Mesa, where The Preserve has just 32 homes, wide rooms suit a 75-inch on a full-motion arm at $69; check the spot first with our height tool.

Carmel Valley is one of the areas, with Scripps Ranch and Rancho Bernardo, where about half our soundbar jobs include a subwoofer or rear speakers. The movie room is usually a bonus room over the garage or a downstairs den, and its TV wall tends to be an interior partition with open stud bays, so an in-wall run adds only about 40 minutes. We set the bar first, below the screen on its own bracket in most rooms, then mark the sub and rears so every wire has a path. Families who want more than one screen ask about tiled panels: a video wall we hung here pairs two 65-inch panels side by side, with the seam matched to the millimeter and every cable inside the wall. See soundbar installation or media walls, then send your wall photos.
