TV Mounting in Seattle, WA

Seattle, the Eastside and the whole Puget Sound on one price list — Ballard, Capitol Hill, Bellevue, Redmond, Everett and Tacoma. Craftsman plaster, skinny townhouses with rooftop decks and glass towers in South Lake Union and downtown Bellevue are the local work, and each one needs its own anchor.

TV mounting and installation in Seattle is flat-rate: $119 up to 60", $129 for 61–85" and from $179 for 86" and larger, plus $40 for each additional TV. Mounts from $39, cables hidden in a raceway for $39 or inside the wall for $69. No travel fee and no surcharge for plaster or concrete.

Seattle has three housing stocks that barely overlap. The first is the old city: Craftsman bungalows, foursquares and Tudors from the 1900s–1930s in Ballard, Queen Anne, Wallingford and Capitol Hill, with plaster over wood lath and studs that are rarely where a stud finder says. The second is the new city: three- and four-story townhouses that replaced those houses lot by lot, with open floor plans, a TV wall shared with a neighbor and a rooftop deck. The third is the tower: concrete and metal studs in South Lake Union, Belltown and downtown Bellevue.

Two things apply to all three. It rains for eight months, so an outdoor TV on a deck needs a solid cover, an outdoor-rated screen and a sealed cable entry. And the whole Sound sits on the Cascadia fault system, so every articulating arm we hang gets a safety strap and every mount goes into studs or concrete, never drywall alone.

We cover about 80 miles out from downtown — Everett and Marysville to the north, the Eastside to Issaquah and Sammamish, Kent, Auburn, Tacoma and Olympia to the south and Bainbridge, Bremerton and Silverdale across the water — with no travel fee anywhere in that circle and same-day slots seven days a week.

Building paperwork is our job, not yours

South Lake Union, Belltown, downtown and Bellevue towers almost always ask for a certificate of insurance naming the association, a reserved service elevator and a loading-dock window, and many limit contractor hours to weekdays. We issue the COI and book the elevator ourselves. Townhouse HOAs care about the outside — a rooftop or deck TV visible from the street may need approval, so send us the rules and we mount to them.

  • Certificate of insurance naming your association, usually same day
  • Service elevator and loading dock booked by us
  • Background-checked, uniformed technicians
  • Drop cloths down, dust vacuumed, packaging taken away

“Old Craftsman, plaster walls and studs in odd places. Nazar found every one with test holes, used a wide mount and there isn't a single crack. Careful, clean and on time.”

The walls we actually find in Seattle

Different market, different walls. The hardware changes with the wall; the result does not.

Plaster and lath in Craftsman houses

Ballard, Queen Anne, Wallingford, Capitol Hill. Plaster cracks if you drill it like drywall: we score it, drill slowly and confirm each stud behind the lath before anything carries weight.

Townhouses with shared walls and rooftop decks

Open plans, tall walls and a TV wall that is often the party wall with the neighbor. We mount into the studs on your side, keep cables out of the fire-rated wall and plan rooftop TVs for wind.

Concrete and metal studs in South Lake Union and Bellevue towers

Rotary hammer into concrete, snap-toggles into steel studs, and the building's insurance paperwork and service elevator sorted before we arrive.

Covered decks in Pacific Northwest rain

Outdoor-rated screens, stainless hardware and a sealed cable entry, mounted under a solid roof where the rain and the wind cannot reach.

Quake straps for Puget Sound faults

Puget Sound is earthquake country. Mounts go into studs or concrete with hardware rated well above the TV, and every articulating arm gets a safety strap.

TV mounting in Seattle — questions we get

Still unsure? Call (877) 676-8880 — a person answers, 8am–8pm.

Can you mount a TV on plaster in an old Seattle house?
Yes — Craftsman plaster is a normal week here. We confirm each stud behind the lath with a small test hole, drill slowly so the plaster does not crack, and use a wide mount when the studs do not line up with where the TV should go.
Are wall-mounted TVs safe in an earthquake?
Mounted properly, yes. We go into studs or concrete with hardware rated well above the TV's weight, never into drywall alone, and every articulating arm gets a safety strap so the screen cannot swing off the wall.
Are Bellevue, Everett and Tacoma the same price as Seattle?
Yes. Bellevue, Redmond, Everett, Tacoma, Olympia and even Bainbridge Island cost what Capitol Hill costs — no travel fee anywhere inside the service area, which reaches about 80 miles out from downtown Seattle.
Can you mount a TV on a covered deck in the rain?
Yes, with an outdoor-rated TV under a solid roof, stainless hardware and a sealed cable entry. A regular indoor TV on a Seattle deck usually fails within a winter — we will tell you honestly if that is what you have.
How fast can you get to my side of Puget Sound?
Usually same-day or next-day, seven days a week, 8am–8pm. Crews start from North Seattle, the Eastside and Kent, so Everett, Redmond and Tacoma get the same windows as downtown. Pick a time in the calculator and we confirm by text.
