The chosen wall was shared with the neighbor, so Nazar used the interior wall opposite the sofa and a painted raceway.

Bainbridge Island homes sit on wooded lots and shoreline bluffs, from Winslow condos near the ferry dock to Tudor-style houses at Lynwood Center and acreage around Rolling Bay. Our North Seattle crew crosses on Kitsap days to hang TVs on paneled walls, over wood stoves and on covered decks.
TV mounting in Bainbridge Island is flat-rate: $119 up to 60", $129 for 61–85" and from $179 for 86" and larger, plus $40 for each additional TV. Mounts from $39, cables hidden in a raceway for $39 or inside the wall for $69. No travel fee and no surcharge for plaster or concrete.
Older farmhouses and cottages may have plaster, shiplap or paneling. We confirm each stud before drilling. Studs behind plaster.
New modern houses have tall walls and big windows. Lag bolts into studs and cables inside the wall ($69). Hiding cables.
Living rooms often have a wood stove or stone fireplace and a Samsung Frame nearby. We check the heat and mount the Frame flush. Frame TVs, TVs over fireplaces.
Covered decks get outdoor-rated TVs with stainless hardware and a sealed cable entry, built for a wet island winter. Outdoor TVs.
10,900 homes and about 24,631 residents. The age and type of a home decide what is behind the drywall, so we check this before we quote.

U.S. Census Bureau, American Community Survey 2020–2024 5-year estimates: year built, units in structure, tenure.
With a median home from 1989 and 77.5% of homes detached, most island TV walls are wood studs behind drywall, often in two-story great rooms with windows toward the water. The surprise is heat: only 3.3% of homes heat mainly with utility gas, so the fireplace under your TV is far more likely a wood stove, a propane insert or an old masonry hearth, and we test that wall before choosing a height.
Across Kitsap County about half of the fireplaces we mount over still burn wood, and island living rooms show every version: freestanding stoves in farmhouse corners, masonry hearths in 1970s cedar houses, propane inserts where owners wanted an easier winter. Before any hole goes in, Nazar lights the fire and lets it run 20 minutes, then reads the wall where the screen would sit. A cool wall takes a tilting mount just above the mantel; a warm one means going higher, moving beside the stove, or a pull-down, whose assembly is $99. Stone around many island hearths is veneer, not structure, so the anchors go through it into the framing or into solid brick, never a mortar joint. The power cord stays outside the wall unless we fit a listed in-wall power kit. Details: fireplace TVs and brick vs. stone veneer.

Winslow saw a wave of townhouse and condo building in the mid-2000s, Madrone Village among them, and those units bring association rules, shared walls and ferry-commuter owners who want the job finished before the evening boat. Up the island, jobs mean long driveways and decks under tall firs.
In Lynwood Center's Tudor-style houses we check older plaster for studs and allow extra time; around Rolling Bay, Port Madison and Agate Point the great-room walls run tall, so expect a heat test at the hearth and two technicians from 86 inches.
Nazar's crew crosses from North Seattle, and region-wide about 2 in 3 requests sent before noon get a same-day slot, so a morning message on a Kitsap day can mean an install that afternoon. Pick a screen height with the height tool, then send your request with a wall photo.

One price list for all of Puget Sound — the wall type does not change the price, and neither does the drive. Craftsman plaster, tower concrete and earthquake straps are billed exactly like drywall.
