Kirkland is mostly a city of 1960s to 1990s homes: split-levels on Rose Hill, ramblers on Finn Hill, Juanita streets that joined the city in 1988 and 2011, plus condos rising around Totem Lake. Ruslan's Eastside crew reaches all of it from Bellevue, usually the same day you call.
TV mounting in Kirkland is flat-rate: $119 up to 60", $129 for 61–85" and from $179 for 86" and larger, plus $40 for each additional TV. Mounts from $39, cables hidden in a raceway for $39 or inside the wall for $69. No travel fee and no surcharge for plaster or concrete.
Downtown waterfront condos have concrete walls and metal-stud partitions. Concrete anchors or snap-toggles, and the COI and elevator booked before we arrive. Concrete walls.
Lake-view homes on the hill are wood-framed, often with a stone fireplace and big windows. Lag bolts into studs and cables inside the wall ($69). Hiding cables.
In living rooms facing the water, owners often choose a Samsung Frame so the wall shows art, not a black rectangle. We mount it flush and hide the One Connect cable in the wall. Frame TVs.
Covered decks get outdoor-rated TVs with stainless hardware and a sealed cable entry, angled away from the glare off the water. Outdoor TVs.
41,096 homes and about 92,621 residents. The age and type of a home decide what is behind the drywall, so we check this before we quote.

U.S. Census Bureau, American Community Survey 2020–2024 5-year estimates: year built, units in structure, tenure.
With 37.3% of homes built between 1960 and 1979 and another 31.1% from 1980–99, most Kirkland TV walls we open are drywall on wood studs, often beside a brick or stone-faced fireplace. Many of those houses predate 1978, so in-wall runs stay at two small openings with the dust caught and no sanding. The 19.6% in buildings of 20+ units, mostly near Totem Lake and downtown, mean concrete or metal studs and an association sign-off instead.
Much of north Kirkland was unincorporated King County until fairly recently: South Juanita's 744 acres joined the city in 1988, and the northern part of Juanita followed in 2011. Ruslan scans before he drills, because a 1970s family room may hide a header, a plumbing vent or studs spaced off the usual 16 inches.
Rose Hill and Finn Hill split-levels usually give us drywall over wood studs and a brick or stone hearth; Juanita townhouses often put the TV on the shared party wall, where we use our side's studs and skip any box, running a painted raceway instead.
Over a fireplace, he runs the fire for 20 minutes and measures the wall before choosing a height; stone veneer is not structure, so anchors pass through it into the framing. A tilting mount ($49) brings the picture back toward the sofa. See fireplace installs.

Around Totem Lake and along Moss Bay, the newer condo buildings ask for a certificate of insurance and a booked elevator; Ruslan keeps the templates and usually sends the certificate the same day you book. Tell us the building name when you request a visit.
If you want a new outlet behind the screen, that is a licensed electrician's job: Kirkland takes electrical permit applications online through MyBuildingPermit.com, under the city's adopted electrical code. We never push a power cord through the wall; our in-wall runs use a listed power kit fed from the outlet you already have. Planning a deck screen? Kirkland says a deck no higher than 30 inches above grade, not over a story below, generally needs no building permit; we still hang outdoor TVs only under a solid roof. Neighbors in Redmond and Bellevue get the same crew.

A ceiling well past 12 feet, so Ruslan suggested a soundbar without up-firing drivers.

One price list for all of Puget Sound — the wall type does not change the price, and neither does the drive. Craftsman plaster, tower concrete and earthquake straps are billed exactly like drywall.
