Fremont is where the lumber-and-streetcar neighborhood platted in 1888 meets six-story apartments on Stone Way and stacked townhouses near the Burke-Gilman Trail. Nazar's crew drives in from North Seattle, so a request sent before noon usually becomes a same-day visit, at a flat price you know before we arrive.
TV mounting in Fremont is flat-rate: $119 up to 60", $129 for 61–85" and from $179 for 86" and larger, plus $40 for each additional TV. Mounts from $39, cables hidden in a raceway for $39 or inside the wall for $69. No travel fee and no surcharge for plaster or concrete.
Hillside houses from the 1900s–1920s have plaster over lath. We confirm each stud with a test hole and drill slowly so the plaster stays intact. Studs behind plaster.
Townhouses and apartments near the canal are new framing with thin drywall and shared walls. Studs only, cables inside where allowed ($69) or a removable raceway for renters. Renter-friendly cables.
A lot of Fremont works from home. We mount a screen on the office wall at seated eye level, hide the cables and use a full-motion arm ($69) if it needs to turn toward a treadmill or a second desk. Tilt vs. swivel.
Decks with a canal or lake view get outdoor-rated TVs under a solid roof, stainless hardware and a sealed cable entry. Outdoor TVs.
15,869 homes and about 26,879 residents. The age and type of a home decide what is behind the drywall, so we check this before we quote.

Fremont is a renter's neighborhood: 61.8% of homes are rented and 44.3% sit in buildings of 20 or more units, so the usual TV wall is new drywall over studs, under a lease that limits holes. Up the hill, 40.6% of homes date from before 1960 and keep plaster over lath, wavy studs and the odd brick chimney. Tell us which one you live in when you book; the hardware and visit time differ.
More than 2,000 apartments opened along Stone Way in the decade before 2022, many in six-story wood-frame blocks that replaced 1950s and 1960s industrial buildings, and in August 2026 a loan was reported for a 105-unit tower on Fremont Avenue N. That is where most of our Fremont calls come from now. Behind that fresh drywall we usually find wood studs; the wall toward the corridor or the next unit is fire-rated, so no recessed box goes there.
Leases here rarely allow more than screw holes. For renters we paint a slim raceway to the wall ($39) and leave the outlet where it is: a TV power cord never runs inside a wall, and a new outlet is work for a licensed electrician. Need a certificate of insurance for the manager? We send it the same day in most cases. Raceway guide.

Fremont keeps adding townhouses; the project approved around the Shannon & Wilson building on Woodland Park Avenue N pairs eight-story apartments with four-story townhomes. In townhouses built since 2000, about 1 in 3 TV walls we see is the party wall with the neighbor. We mount into the studs on our side and put no box into it; to hide cables we move the TV to an interior wall or paint a raceway. Cable concealment.
On a roofed corner of a rooftop deck an outdoor TV works, but the afternoon wind is real: we prefer a fixed or tilting mount, tether any arm, and fit a lift-off bracket if the TV winters indoors. Ask your HOA first; about 1 in 4 outdoor installs needs approval. Try our height tool for the living-room screen. Neighbors in Wallingford and Ballard get the same crew.
