Rucker Hill Colonial Revival
Soft mortar at TV height: Nazar set every anchor into solid brick faces and ran the fire 20 minutes before picking the height.

Everett was platted on a grid as an industrial mill town, and its housing still reads that way: 1910s Colonial Revivals on Rucker Hill, plain wood-frame houses on the old blocks, 1990s Silver Lake two-stories and new waterfront apartments at Fisherman's Harbor. Nazar's North Seattle crew drives up most days.
TV mounting in Everett is flat-rate: $119 up to 60", $129 for 61–85" and from $179 for 86" and larger, plus $40 for each additional TV. Mounts from $39, cables hidden in a raceway for $39 or inside the wall for $69. No travel fee and no surcharge for plaster or concrete.
North Everett's Victorians and Craftsman houses have plaster over lath. We confirm each stud with a test hole, drill slowly and use a wide mount when the studs don't line up. Mounts for plaster.
Silver Lake subdivisions are standard wood studs and drywall with gas fireplaces. Lag bolts into two studs and cables inside the wall ($69). Drywall guide.
Families transferring in and out call us twice: to take the TVs down before the movers ($49 each) and to mount them in the new place. We check the old mounts fit the new TVs. Will your mount fit?.
Renters get studs and a removable raceway ($39); Port Gardner condos get the COI and elevator booking handled first. Renter-friendly cables.
47,689 homes and about 111,845 residents. The age and type of a home decide what is behind the drywall, so we check this before we quote.

Everett is a renter-majority city: 51.0% of homes are rented, so our first question is what the lease allows, and a painted raceway that leaves only the mount's holes is the usual answer. The median home dates from 1981, but 27.6% were built before 1960 — that slice is the North Everett and Riverside housing stock where walls are plaster over lath and studs sit at odd spacing. Silver Lake drywall goes faster.
Everett's investors laid the town out as an industrial grid, and most of its blocks filled with modest wood-frame houses for mill families. A century of remodels means a TV wall can hide a filled-in window or patched chase, so Nazar maps it with a magnet and a small test hole before promising a height. Up on Rucker Hill, 102 houses from roughly 1905 to the Depression sit in a historic district; many keep their original brick fireplaces, and we read the mortar before trusting it — anchors only into sound brick, never a joint. Twelve of our Everett TVs went over a fireplace, and roughly a third of those still burn wood. At Fisherman's Harbor, Waterfront Place's mid-rise apartments are rentals, so a painted raceway for $39 usually suits the lease and the move-out inspection.

About one in four of our Everett jobs is really two: a dismount ($49) in the house being left and a mount in the next. Booking both together lets Nazar check that the old bracket fits the new screen before anyone drives. Where no outlet exists, we fit a listed in-wall power kit fed from the existing outlet; the TV's power cord never travels inside the wall. A brand-new outlet is a licensed electrician's job, permitted in Everett by the city's own Permit Services rather than L&I. Gas fireplaces in Silver Lake get the same 20-minute burn and wall reading as a Rucker Hill hearth, and the TV goes higher on tilt if the wall runs warm. Send two wall photos through the quote page before noon; about two in three requests get a slot that day.
A few jobs from the last months — the kind of walls and setups we see here most.

Plaster too thick for a recessed box, so Nazar ran the HDMI inside to a surface plate; the power cord stays outside.

A Navy family expecting orders: a slim raceway painted to the wall and a strapped arm, so move-out means unscrewing, not patching.

One price list for all of Puget Sound — the wall type does not change the price, and neither does the drive. Craftsman plaster, tower concrete and earthquake straps are billed exactly like drywall.
