Fairmont Park brick ranch
Mortar patches covered the brick at the chosen height, so Serhii anchored one course higher after a clean burn test.

La Porte homes split into two groups for a TV wall: brick ranches from the 1960s to the 1990s around Fairmont Park and Battleground Estates, and newer builds in Morgan's Landing and Greendale. Serhii's Bay Area crew knows both and can often come the same day at a flat price.
TV mounting in La Porte is flat-rate: $119 up to 60", $129 for 61–85" and from $179 for 86" and larger, plus $40 for each additional TV. Mounts from $39, cables hidden in a raceway for $39 or inside the wall for $69. No travel fee and no surcharge for brick or stone.
Bayfront homes in Shoreacres and Morgan's Point have big windows facing the water and covered porches. Indoors, we plan the TV away from the glare; outdoors, outdoor-rated screens, stainless hardware and sealed cable entries. Outdoor TVs.
Fairmont Park and Lomax homes are brick with drywall on wood studs. Two studs and lag bolts hold any TV up to 85 inches; cables go inside the wall with a power kit ($69). Drywall mounting.
A covered porch facing Galveston Bay is the best seat in La Porte. We mount on the side sheltered from the prevailing wind, under a solid roof, and a full-motion mount ($69) lets you swing the screen between the porch and the view. Tilt vs. swivel.
When a storm heads up the bay, outdoor TVs come down first. We can take them down ($49) and rehang them afterward at the regular rate.
13,791 homes and about 36,730 residents. The age and type of a home decide what is behind the drywall, so we check this before we quote.

U.S. Census Bureau, American Community Survey 2020–2024 5-year estimates: year built, units in structure, tenure.
The median La Porte home was built in 1983, and the stock splits almost evenly: 32.8% went up between 1960 and 1979 and 33.0% between 1980 and 1999. For a TV that means mostly brick houses with wood-stud walls, often with a brick gas-log fireplace in the den. Pre-1980 walls hide more horizontal braces, so an in-wall cable run there can add about an hour; we say so before we cut.
In Fairmont Park the typical call is a 1970s or 1980s brick house with a den fireplace. We burn the gas logs first, then anchor into solid brick and run the low-voltage cables in a paintable raceway beside the brick. Battleground Estates homes sit on oversized lots, so we often mount a second TV in a garage or on a patio wall, lagged into the studs. Morgan's Landing, Greendale and Lakes at Fairmont Greens are newer builds with drywall on wood studs, easy for hidden cables. Builders set the outlet for a stand, so a listed in-wall power kit carries power behind the screen; the TV cord itself never travels inside the wall, and a new receptacle is an electrician's job. A 61- to 85-inch screen is a flat $129; see our fireplace TV service and the height tool.

La Porte lies east of State Highway 146, inside the Texas Department of Insurance windstorm program alongside Morgan's Point and Shoreacres next door. A TV bracket on an existing wall is not an addition, but a new pergola or patio cover meant to hold one must meet TDI's specifications for TWIA coverage, so we schedule after it is finished. Salt reaches farther than the shoreline: FEMA has measured faster corrosion five to ten miles inland, and that covers all of La Porte, not only Bay Front. Every outdoor screw here is 316 stainless, as on our Seabrook jobs. The city does not enforce deed restrictions, yet it will not permit a structure that breaks a known one, and townhouse covenants need city approval before they are recorded. Check yours before a street-facing patio TV, then book our outdoor TV service.

The builder outlet sat at stand height; Serhii added a listed in-wall power kit so no cord runs inside the wall.

Too shallow to keep the screen 4 feet from the open edge, so a full-motion arm folds it back; all screws are 316 stainless.
