Deer Park Gardens ranch
The 20-minute burn read fine; anchors went into solid brick, clear of mortar joints, with cables in paintable raceway along the edge.

Deer Park is mostly brick: 1960s and 1970s ranch houses, newer two-stories such as East Meadows Place, and a gas fireplace in many family rooms. Serhii from our Bay Area crew covers the town, mounts on brick or drywall the same day and quotes a flat price before he drills.
TV mounting in Deer Park is flat-rate: $119 up to 60", $129 for 61–85" and from $179 for 86" and larger, plus $40 for each additional TV. Mounts from $39, cables hidden in a raceway for $39 or inside the wall for $69. No travel fee and no surcharge for brick or stone.
Brick family homes in Deer Park Gardens, Country Meadows and Brookhollow are drywall on wood studs with a fireplace in the family room. Two studs and lag bolts, cables inside the wall ($69) and a height set for the sofa cover almost every job. Drywall mounting.
Garages and workshops have open studs, plywood or OSB walls. We mount into the framing, keep the TV high and away from car doors and tools, and run cables in metal or PVC raceway.
Rotating shifts mean a Tuesday morning can be your Saturday. We book seven days a week from 8am to 8pm, and same-day slots are common. Same-day installs.
Deer Park backyards are made for crawfish boils and game days. Outdoor-rated TVs under a solid patio roof, stainless hardware and sealed cable entries hold up to the Gulf-coast humidity. Outdoor TVs.
12,895 homes and about 33,967 residents. The age and type of a home decide what is behind the drywall, so we check this before we quote.

U.S. Census Bureau, American Community Survey 2020–2024 5-year estimates: year built, units in structure, tenure.
Deer Park's median home was built in 1982, and 36.4% of units date from 1960–79, so most TV walls we meet are wood studs behind drywall, often beside a brick fireplace in the den. With 68.7% of homes heated by utility gas, gas logs are the usual fire under the TV, so every fireplace job here starts with a heat reading. Newer two-stories add tall builder niches and outlets set higher than most sofas want.
In Deer Park Gardens, Deer Park Manor and Battleground Estates the request we hear most is the den: a single-story brick ranch with a gas-log fireplace and the sofa about ten feet back. Before anything is drilled, Serhii lights the logs at full output for 20 minutes and reads the surface where the TV will hang. If it runs hot, the screen moves beside the chimney or onto a pull-down mount. On the brick he anchors into solid brick, never the mortar, and checks whether the face is real masonry or thin stone veneer; veneer is not structure, so fasteners pass through it into the framing. A low-profile tilt angles the picture toward the couch ($49) and keeps glare from the den window off the screen. Try the height tool, then see how our fireplace installs work.

East Meadows Place, the K. Hovnanian community off Wildflower Drive, brings a different layout: two-story family rooms, builder outlets set high and an HOA with its own covenants. Hiding HDMI behind the drywall needs no electrician. A new receptacle behind the screen does, and in Deer Park that permit goes through the Building Department on East San Augustine or its Citizen Self Service portal. We usually skip that: a listed in-wall power kit fed from the outlet below, because a TV power cord never runs loose inside a wall (hidden cables, $69). In older ranches on slabs, longer runs go through the attic instead. Deer Park is not among the Harris County cities named in TDI's windstorm inspection program, unlike La Porte and Pasadena. A few jobs from the last months — the kind of walls and setups we see here most.

The builder's outlet sat near 7 feet; Serhii hung the TV a foot lower on a listed in-wall power kit.

Cutting 1970s paneling leaves scars, so Serhii found studs through the grooves and painted a raceway to match the panels.
