Brookewater two-story family room

Rosenberg is two towns in one for a TV wall: older brick ranches and duplexes near the historic downtown, and new master plans like Brookewater and Kingdom Heights on the edges. Taras's west-side crew works both, usually the same day, with a flat price before we drill a single hole.
TV mounting in Rosenberg is flat-rate: $119 up to 60", $129 for 61–85" and from $179 for 86" and larger, plus $40 for each additional TV. Mounts from $39, cables hidden in a raceway for $39 or inside the wall for $69. No travel fee and no surcharge for brick or stone.
Bonbrook Plantation, Walnut Creek and Stone Creek homes are drywall on wood studs with brick exteriors and family rooms with a fireplace. Two studs and lag bolts hold any TV up to 85 inches. Drywall mounting.
Downtown storefronts on Avenue H are old brick. Restaurants and shops get sleeve anchors in the brick faces, never the mortar, and cables in a slim painted raceway ($39). Brick and stone.
A standard Rosenberg job — one or two TVs, cables hidden — takes about an hour per screen. The price you see in the calculator is the price you pay: $119 up to 60 inches, $129 up to 85 inches, each additional TV $40.
Covered patios and garage workshops are common second locations. Outdoor-rated screens and stainless hardware go on the patio; in garages we mount high and away from car doors. Outdoor TVs.
16,070 homes and about 40,646 residents. The age and type of a home decide what is behind the drywall, so we check this before we quote.
54% owner-occupied · 46% rented
U.S. Census Bureau, American Community Survey 2020–2024 5-year estimates: year built, units in structure, tenure.
The median Rosenberg home was built in 1997, and 32.6% of housing units date from 2010 or later, so most walls we open are wood studs behind drywall at 16 inches, often with a builder's TV outlet already set. Almost half the town rents: 45.6% of homes are renter-occupied, many in duplexes and small complexes, where a paintable raceway usually beats cutting drywall and the mount stays in place for the next tenant.
Most of our Rosenberg calls now come from the master plans on the outskirts. Brookewater alone covers 850 acres with roughly 2,400 to 2,500 homes planned, and Austin Point is planned for about 14,000 more. The pattern repeats: drywall on wood studs, a two-story family room and a gas-log fireplace with a cultured-stone face. That stone is veneer, not structure, so the lag bolts pass through it into the studs behind, with shims to keep the plate plumb. First the logs burn for 20 minutes at full output while we read the wall. If the sofa sits far back, a tilting mount ($49) angles the screen down; our height tool settles the line before we arrive. Cables bound for a niche or closet go through the attic, never the slab: more on fireplace TV installation.

Closer to the rail line and the Cultural District downtown, the housing is older and much of it is rented: 1960s and 1970s brick ranches, duplexes and small complexes, plus a few homes with paneling under the paint. In-wall runs in pre-1980 houses hit a horizontal block or brace about 1 in 4 times, so Taras carries a long flex bit and a small patch kit. Painted brick around a den fireplace gets only the anchor holes, drilled with dust collection; nobody sands it or works inside the firebox. Renters usually choose raceway; our renter-friendly wire concealment guide shows the finish. If you live next door in Richmond or farther east in Sugar Land, the same crew covers you. Send two photos of the wall through the quote page and we will confirm a same-day slot.

A fire block sat mid-bay; Taras cut one small access hole, drilled through and fished a listed in-wall power kit.

Lease allowed small holes only, so two studs held the mount and a paintable raceway carried the cords to the outlet.
