Grand Central Park two-story

Conroe mixes an old sawmill town with new subdivisions: Grand Central Park and Artavia two-stories, apartments along Loop 336, brick storefronts downtown and stone great rooms on the lake. Yurii's Spring crew is a short drive up I-45, often comes same-day and quotes a flat price first.
TV mounting in Conroe is flat-rate: $119 up to 60", $129 for 61–85" and from $179 for 86" and larger, plus $40 for each additional TV. Mounts from $39, cables hidden in a raceway for $39 or inside the wall for $69. No travel fee and no surcharge for brick or stone.
Waterfront homes on Lake Conroe have tall great rooms facing the lake, covered decks and boathouses. Outdoor TVs need outdoor-rated screens and stainless hardware; indoors, we plan the TV away from the wall of windows to avoid glare. Outdoor TVs.
Grand Central Park and Woodforest are new builds with drywall on wood studs, stone fireplaces and game rooms. Two studs and lag bolts hold any TV up to 85 inches; cables go inside the wall with a power kit ($69).
Many Lake Conroe homes are second homes. We can meet a property manager or use a lockbox, send photos of the finished install and leave the remote where you want it. April Sound and Walden condos get the same COI and elevator coordination as city buildings.
Restaurants and shops around the courthouse square are brick. We anchor in the brick faces, run cables in slim raceways ($39) and install before opening hours.
42,431 homes and about 102,360 residents. The age and type of a home decide what is behind the drywall, so we check this before we quote.
54% owner-occupied · 46% rented
U.S. Census Bureau, American Community Survey 2020–2024 5-year estimates: year built, units in structure, tenure.
With a median year built of 2006, most Conroe walls we open are fresh drywall on wood studs, square and easy to anchor, though a young house can still crack a taping seam as it settles. Only 41.7% of homes heat mainly with gas, so the fireplace under the TV is often electric and its vent sets the height. And 45.5% of households rent, so lease-friendly cable routes are routine work here.
Conroe has the lowest share of gas heat among the big cities we serve, and it shows on the fireplace wall. In Grand Central Park, Artavia and The Woodlands Hills we often meet a wall-hung or recessed electric unit under the builder's TV outlet, and about 1 in 3 of our 12+ Conroe fireplace TVs went over one.
Electric fireplaces are gentler on a screen than gas logs, yet the warm air leaves through a slot, often at the top. Yurii runs the heater on high for 20 minutes and reads the wall where the screen's bottom edge would sit. Most spots pass; a warm one gets a hand-width more height and a slight tilt. Try the height tool, or read our electric fireplace guide. A 61- to 85-inch TV on studs is $129, flat.

Close to half of Conroe households rent, many in newer complexes along I-45 and Loop 336, and leases there often allow small holes but no electrical changes. The city agrees: its permit office counts altering a home's wiring as permit work, so a new outlet behind the TV belongs to a licensed electrician.
That leaves two clean routes. In an apartment Yurii mounts into two studs and runs paintable raceway down to your existing outlet ($39); it peels off cleanly at move-out. In a house you own, a listed in-wall power kit plugs into the receptacle you have and feeds the screen from behind the drywall. The TV's own cord never travels inside the wall, by code. See our renter's wire guide or cable concealment, then send a request with a wall photo.
A few jobs from the last months — the kind of walls and setups we see here most.

The lease allowed small holes only, and a new outlet would alter the wiring, a permit job here. Yurii used two studs and raceway to the existing outlet.

Stacked stone is veneer, not structure, so after the 20-minute burn Yurii drove long lags through it into the studs and shimmed the plate plumb.
