South Jordan is a young city: most houses went up after 2000, and Daybreak keeps adding streets on former Bingham Canyon Mine land. That means fresh framing, gas fireplaces in tall great rooms and big basements. Anton's crew drives in from West Jordan, often the same day, and hangs every screen into solid framing.
TV mounting in South Jordan is flat-rate: $119 up to 60", $129 for 61–85" and from $179 for 86" and larger, plus $40 for each additional TV. Mounts from $39, cables hidden in a raceway for $39 or inside the wall for $69. No travel fee and no surcharge for brick or concrete.
Daybreak homes and townhomes are new wood framing and drywall, often with a gas fireplace in the great room. We check the heat and the viewing height, mount into two studs and hide the cables inside the wall ($69). TV height.
Finished basements are framed in front of the foundation — the favorite spot for the family's biggest screen. Heavy-duty mounts into studs, cables through the framing. 85-inch TVs.
A basement room needs more sound than a TV speaker gives. We mount a soundbar ($69) under the screen and wire it so one remote runs both. Soundbars.
Daybreak patios and porches get outdoor-rated TVs with stainless hardware and a sealed cable entry, under a solid cover that keeps the snow off. Outdoor TVs.
27,365 homes and about 82,686 residents. The age and type of a home decide what is behind the drywall, so we check this before we quote.

U.S. Census Bureau, American Community Survey 2020–2024 5-year estimates: year built, units in structure, tenure.
With a median build year of 2007 and 42.9% of homes built since 2010, South Jordan walls are almost all wood studs behind drywall that has had little time to settle, so small nail pops and builder-set outlet boxes are what we work around, not plaster or brick. Detached houses make up 71.0% of the housing, which is why most visits cover a great room upstairs, a basement below and a kids' room.
Larry H. Miller Real Estate bought Daybreak with more than 1,300 undeveloped acres still to build, and the plan calls for over 13,500 homes, so many South Jordan calls come the week after closing. Builders sometimes leave a recessed media box over the fireplace at a guessed height; we check it against your seats with the height tool. The great-room mantels we measure run 54 to 60 inches, putting a flat TV's center near 80 inches, so about 3 in 5 of our fireplace TVs go on a tilting mount ($49), after we run the fire and measure the wall. Power behind the screen comes from a listed in-wall power kit fed by the existing outlet; the cord never goes inside the wall, and a new outlet is an electrician's job with a permit. Downstairs is a separate plan. Cables ride the stud bays framed ahead of the foundation, never the concrete, and about 1 in 4 of our basement runs finishes at a media closet or under the stairs. Look up before you buy audio: about 1 in 3 basement TV walls sits under a low duct soffit, which blunts an Atmos bar's up-firing drivers, so we point families to a regular bar plus a subwoofer or a 5.1 set with rear speakers. An 85-inch screen goes on a heavy-duty mount ($59); 86 inches and up gets two technicians. One of our nine video walls, a 2x1 of 65-inch panels, hangs in a Daybreak basement game room, so a tiled wall is possible. Still framing? Call before the drywall and we will mark where blocking helps. Wiring ideas: cable concealment.
A few jobs from the last months — the kind of walls and setups we see here most.

A duct soffit hung just above, so Anton fitted a bar without up-firing drivers and sent cables to the under-stairs closet.

The arm needed to reach the kitchen island, so Anton used two off-center studs, a safety strap and a stop before the window trim.

One price list for the whole Wasatch Front — the wall type does not change the price, and neither does the drive. Plaster over brick, basement framing and earthquake straps are billed exactly like drywall.
