Riverton reads like a timeline from east to west: 1980s and 1990s homes near Redwood Road, 2000s two-stories around Bangerter Highway, then the 543-acre southwest build-out and Mountain Ridge townhomes by Blackridge Reservoir. Anton's crew drives in from West Jordan, so a morning request often becomes an afternoon install at a flat price.
TV mounting in Riverton is flat-rate: $119 up to 60", $129 for 61–85" and from $179 for 86" and larger, plus $40 for each additional TV. Mounts from $39, cables hidden in a raceway for $39 or inside the wall for $69. No travel fee and no surcharge for brick or concrete.
Main-floor family rooms have a gas fireplace and tall walls. We check the heat and the viewing height, mount into two studs and hide the cables inside the wall ($69). TVs over fireplaces.
Finished basements are framed in front of the foundation — where the biggest TV usually goes. Heavy-duty mounts into studs, cables through the framing and a soundbar if you want one. 85-inch TVs.
Every mount goes into studs with hardware rated well above the TV, and every articulating arm ($69) gets a safety strap. Toggles vs. lag bolts.
Back patios get an outdoor-rated TV that handles snow and summer sun, stainless hardware and a sealed cable entry. Outdoor TVs.
14,406 homes and about 45,457 residents. The age and type of a home decide what is behind the drywall, so we check this before we quote.

U.S. Census Bureau, American Community Survey 2020–2024 5-year estimates: year built, units in structure, tenure.
Median year built is 2001, so most TV walls here are wood studs behind drywall, the easiest wall to anchor well. Utility gas heats 89.1% of homes, and most great-room fireplaces we see here burn gas, so we run it and measure the wall before picking a height. With 78.1% detached houses, the basement family room is usually a second, bigger TV wall on framing along the poured concrete, where cables travel the cavity.
Your street's age tells us what to pack. Around Old Riverton and Redwood Road, many 1980s and 1990s ramblers have a brick fireplace front; we anchor into solid brick faces, never a mortar joint, and skip any soft or patched course. Near Riverton City Park and in Western Springs, the 2000s two-story great rooms often wrap a gas fireplace in cultured stone. That stone is a face, not structure, so the lags pass through it into the framing. We light the fire before drilling, and when the mantel sits near 60 inches, a tilting mount ($49) angles the picture down to the sofa. In the southwest build-out along 13400 South, builder niches above the fireplace are often too shallow for a 75-inch set, so we mount above them. The height tool shows where the center lands; our fireplace install page covers the rest.

Mountain Ridge, shared with Herriman near Blackridge Reservoir, mixes townhomes and single-family lots around a planned clubhouse and pool, so owners there belong to an HOA. Redwood Road keeps adding townhome rows like Sycamore Glen. Utah's Community Association Act says an HOA rule cannot restrict a home's interior except where neighbors' safety is at stake, and it cannot turn away a contractor only for being off a preferred-vendor list. A living-room TV is your decision; an outdoor screen on the front porch deserves a check with the board.
Shared walls matter more than rules. When the TV wall is the party wall, we keep boxes out of it and run a slim raceway painted to the wall color ($39). The power cord never goes inside the wall: in-wall jobs use a listed power kit fed from an existing outlet. More on hidden cables.
A few jobs from the last months — the kind of walls and setups we see here most.

The TV wall was shared with the neighbor, so Anton ran a painted raceway instead of cutting in.

A duct soffit hung right above the screen, so Anton chose a soundbar without up-firing drivers.

One price list for the whole Wasatch Front — the wall type does not change the price, and neither does the drive. Plaster over brick, basement framing and earthquake straps are billed exactly like drywall.
