Herriman is a city of fresh drywall: most houses here went up after 2010, and whole neighborhoods like Olympia Hills are still being framed. Anton's crew drives over from West Jordan, finds the studs behind builder-grade walls, and mounts great-room and basement screens before the boxes are unpacked.
TV mounting in Herriman is flat-rate: $119 up to 60", $129 for 61–85" and from $179 for 86" and larger, plus $40 for each additional TV. Mounts from $39, cables hidden in a raceway for $39 or inside the wall for $69. No travel fee and no surcharge for brick or concrete.
Great rooms in new homes have a gas fireplace, tall walls and big windows. We measure the viewing height from the sofa, mount into two studs and use a tilting mount ($49) above a fireplace. TV height.
Finished basements are framed in front of the foundation. Heavy-duty mounts into studs and cables through the framing ($69) for the family's biggest screen. Hiding cables.
Herriman basements often become home theaters: an 85-inch or larger screen on a heavy-duty mount, a soundbar ($69) and everything hidden in the walls. 85-inch TVs.
Afternoon wind comes down off the Oquirrhs. Patio TVs go under a solid roof on the sheltered side with stainless hardware and a sealed cable entry. Outdoor TVs.
17,965 homes and about 59,346 residents. The age and type of a home decide what is behind the drywall, so we check this before we quote.

U.S. Census Bureau, American Community Survey 2020–2024 5-year estimates: year built, units in structure, tenure.
With a median year built of 2013 and 63.0% of homes built since 2010, Herriman walls are nearly always wood studs behind fresh drywall, so solid framing is quick to find. The surprises are fire blocks midway up tall great-room walls and builder pre-wire boxes on the wrong wall. Townhomes are 18.1% of housing, so we ask whether the TV wall is shared with a neighbor; on a shared wall we use a painted raceway.
Most Herriman calls reach us in the first weeks after closing, when rooms are still empty and the paint is days old. That is the easiest moment to plan a TV wall. Before drilling, Anton checks three things builders leave behind. One is the low-voltage plate, often set on a wall nobody will face; we either use it or run a fresh path with a listed power kit ($69). Another is the fire block halfway up a two-story wall, which can need one small extra opening hidden behind the screen. The last is your warranty paperwork: we drill only into framing and keep cuts small, so a later drywall claim stays simple. In Olympia Hills, planned for up to 6,330 homes built in phases, building crews often work next door, so we plan parking around their trucks.

Herriman visits rarely stop at one screen, and each extra TV is $40. Upstairs, about 1 in 3 TVs we hang here goes above a fireplace, most of them gas. Anton runs the fire, then measures the wall over the mantel; a warm reading means a higher spot on a tilt, or a pull-down (see fireplace TV installation and the height tool). Stone on these chases is usually cultured veneer over framing, so anchors pass through it into wood; the stone carries no load. Downstairs, basement walls stand off the foundation, and cables travel the stud cavity, never the concrete. West-facing patios bake in late sun, so some families pick a full-sun outdoor model. Riverton and South Jordan get the same crew. Send a request before noon for a good shot at a same-day slot: book a visit.

One price list for the whole Wasatch Front — the wall type does not change the price, and neither does the drive. Plaster over brick, basement framing and earthquake straps are billed exactly like drywall.
