Whispering Pines is a village of detached houses where a 1970s ranch on Thagards Lake can sit near a 2025 build off Airport Road or a golf-front condo by the Woods course. Tymofii covers the Sandhills for us, mounting TVs same-day at flat prices and checking every wall first.
TV mounting in Whispering Pines is flat-rate: $119 up to 60", $129 for 61–85" and from $179 for 86" and larger, plus $40 for each additional TV. Mounts from $39, cables hidden in a raceway for $39 or inside the wall for $69. No travel fee and no surcharge for brick, stone or plaster.
Brick fireplaces from the 1960s–80s get a heat check and anchors into solid brick. Brick vs. stone veneer.
Sunrooms have more glass than wall; a full-motion arm ($69) on the one solid section turns the TV away from the glare. Tilt vs. swivel.
Covered decks and screened porches get outdoor-rated TVs with stainless hardware and a sealed cable entry. Outdoor TVs.
We set the height for the chair you actually use and add a soundbar ($69) for clearer dialogue. Ideal TV height, soundbars and shelves.
2,018 homes and about 5,211 residents. The age and type of a home decide what is behind the drywall, so we check this before we quote.

With 98.4% of homes detached, nearly every visit here is a single-family house. The age split matters more for the wall: 24.9% of homes date from the 1960s and 1970s, the lake ranches with brick fireplaces, while 36.2% went up in 2010 or later. In houses built since 2000 about 1 in 5 TV walls we open turn out framed 24 inches on center, so we locate both studs before choosing the plate width.
The village has kept growing since the 1960s, and the wall behind your TV usually tells us which decade your house belongs to. Around Thagards Lake and Shadow Lake the older ranches put a brick fireplace on the main wall, and we bring sleeve anchors for the brick faces. Newer houses in Newbury Ridge and along Pine Lake Drive, where a 2026 build was listed this year, are drywall, often with a tall great room; those walls are where we meet 24-inch stud spacing and run cables with an in-wall power kit. The few golf-front condos near the Woods course date from the early 1980s and often share a wall with the next unit, so the TV moves to an interior wall. A tilting mount ($49) suits most of these rooms; check the height tool before we arrive so you know where the screen center lands.

Only 1.8% of homes here heat mainly with utility gas, so the fireplace in a Whispering Pines den is seldom fed by a gas main. The lake ranches usually have a brick firebox burning wood or converted to propane logs; newer houses lean toward a drywall-faced chase with a sealed or electric insert. Whatever it burns, Tymofii runs it at full output for 20 minutes and reads the surface where the bottom of the screen will sit. Too hot, and the TV moves higher on a tilt or beside the hearth. Anchors go into solid brick faces, never mortar joints, and thin stone veneer is treated as trim, not structure. The TV's own power cord never runs inside the wall; in-wall power takes a listed in-wall power kit or an electrician's outlet. See fireplace TV installation or send a request with a photo of the hearth.

Tymofii ran the propane logs at full flame for the 20-minute test, then anchored into the brick faces, never the mortar.

The main wall was shared with the next unit, so Tymofii used an interior wall and paintable raceway.

One price list for Raleigh, Durham, Cary, Chapel Hill and out to Pinehurst and Fayetteville — the wall type does not change the price, and neither does the drive. Oakwood plaster, stacked-stone fireplaces and downtown concrete are billed exactly like drywall.
