Carpenter Village packs porch-front houses, alley garages and the Legacy and Carpenter Square townhomes into a walkable neighborhood off Morrisville-Carpenter Road and Davis Drive. Tymofii and our west Cary crew work this corner of town, so a same-day visit is usually possible, with one flat price and a level TV before dinner.
TV mounting in Carpenter Village is flat-rate: $119 up to 60", $129 for 61–85" and from $179 for 86" and larger, plus $40 for each additional TV. Mounts from $39, cables hidden in a raceway for $39 or inside the wall for $69. No travel fee and no surcharge for brick, stone or plaster.
Single-family homes are drywall on wood studs with open living and kitchen areas. Lag bolts into two studs, cables inside the wall ($69). Hiding cables.
Townhomes around the green share walls. Studs on your side, nothing opened in the shared wall. Mounting in an apartment.
When the only wall faces the kitchen, a full-motion arm ($69) turns the TV toward the sofa. We walk the room with you first. Tilt vs. swivel, drywall guide.
Porches are the point of the neighborhood; an outdoor-rated TV with stainless hardware goes on the back one, out of the street's view. Outdoor TVs.
25,297 homes and about 69,836 residents. The age and type of a home decide what is behind the drywall, so we check this before we quote.

U.S. Census Bureau, American Community Survey 2020–2024 5-year estimates: year built, units in structure, tenure. Census figures for ZIP Code 27519 — there is no separate Census boundary for Carpenter Village.
The surrounding ZIP code is young: 35.1% of its homes went up in the 2000s, the decade most of Carpenter Village was finished. That means drywall on wood framing, though in about 1 in 5 post-2000 walls we open, the studs sit 24 inches apart, so we find them before picking a bracket. Townhomes make up 19.9%, and there the party wall stays untouched. With 64.1% heating by utility gas, the fireplace under a TV here usually burns gas too.
Because the garage opens onto the alley, the front room of a Carpenter Village house usually faces the porch and the street through tall windows. We put the TV on the wall that catches the least afternoon glare and check the height from your sofa with our height tool. If the family room has a gas-log fireplace, the job starts with a 20-minute burn at full flame and a surface reading where the bottom of the TV will sit; a hot reading means a higher spot on a tilting mount ($49). Where a room sits over the rear garage, the sloped knee wall usually leaves one usable gable wall. We book those for summer mornings and route the HDMI cables through the knee-wall attic from its hatch, before the room heats up. Read more on fireplace TVs.

The garage townhomes of the Legacy section went up around 2006–2007, and Carpenter Square is a separate townhome section within the Carpenter Village area. In both, the long living-room wall is often shared with the neighbor, so the TV goes on an interior wall or into the studs on your own side, and every opening stays out of the fire-rated party wall. Cables then run in a paintable raceway or inside an interior wall with a listed in-wall power kit; the TV's own cord never goes in the wall. Renters at Bexley at Carpenter Village and in leased townhomes get studs-only mounting and removable raceway, and we can come back at move-out to take the TV down and patch the holes ($49). The same crew covers Morrisville and the rest of Cary, so a same-day slot is usually open.
A few jobs from the last months — the kind of walls and setups we see here most.

The obvious wall was shared, so we used the interior wall facing the kitchen and a paintable raceway.

Gable-wall studs ran 24 inches on center; a second technician held the 75-inch while we caught both.

One price list for Raleigh, Durham, Cary, Chapel Hill and out to Pinehurst and Fayetteville — the wall type does not change the price, and neither does the drive. Oakwood plaster, stacked-stone fireplaces and downtown concrete are billed exactly like drywall.
