Cary Park mixes lakeside two-stories, Bridgegate Drive townhomes and newer streets off Cary Glen Boulevard, all tied together by trails around the lakes. Our west Cary crew is close by, so same-day visits are realistic: we find studs, test the fireplace, hide wires and leave the wall clean.
TV mounting in Cary Park is flat-rate: $119 up to 60", $129 for 61–85" and from $179 for 86" and larger, plus $40 for each additional TV. Mounts from $39, cables hidden in a raceway for $39 or inside the wall for $69. No travel fee and no surcharge for brick, stone or plaster.
Family rooms have a gas fireplace on the TV wall. We check the heat and use a tilting mount ($49) so the screen angles toward the sofa. TVs over fireplaces.
Bonus rooms and bedrooms are drywall on wood studs: lag bolts into two studs, cables inside the wall ($69). Drywall guide.
Second owners often inherit a mount. We check it fits the new TV's VESA pattern and weight, or swap the TV for $129. Will your mount fit?.
Porches get outdoor-rated TVs with stainless hardware; bonus rooms get 75- and 85-inch screens with a second technician. Outdoor TVs, 85-inch TVs.
25,297 homes and about 69,836 residents. The age and type of a home decide what is behind the drywall, so we check this before we quote.

U.S. Census Bureau, American Community Survey 2020–2024 5-year estimates: year built, units in structure, tenure. Census figures for ZIP Code 27519 — there is no separate Census boundary for Cary Park.
The Census counts 43.7% of units here as built in 2010 or later, so nearly every TV wall we open turns out to be drywall on wood studs, though newer framing is where studs sometimes sit 24 inches apart. Townhomes make up 19.9% of homes, which means plenty of shared party walls, and 64.1% of households heat with utility gas, which is why so many family rooms center on a gas fireplace.
Many townhomes along Bridgegate Drive and Cary Glen Boulevard went up around 2005 and 2006, and their living rooms often put the natural TV spot on the wall shared with the neighbor. That wall is fire-rated, and we never cut into it: about 1 in 5 of our Cary concealment jobs are townhomes like these, and each one ended on an interior wall or in paintable raceway ($39). An interior wall still lets us hide the wires inside the stud bay with a listed in-wall power kit; the TV's own cord never goes into the wall. Condos in the neighborhood add shared-building rules too, so ask the association first. Some associations here also own the exterior structure, so a porch TV needing a new outside cable hole should be cleared ahead of time. More on routes: hidden wires.

Around the lakes on Waterford Lake Drive, as in nearby Green Level, family rooms often rise two stories over a gas fireplace faced in stacked stone, with the builder's outlet and cable box near the ceiling. A screen that high strains necks, so we mark the height from your sofa with our height tool and often land a foot or more lower on a tilting mount. Before drilling, the fireplace runs 20 minutes at full output while we read the surface where the TV's bottom edge will sit. Stacked stone is a veneer, not structure, so the bolts pass through it into the framing behind, and we shim the plate plumb. Expect about two hours, with a second technician for screens of 75 inches and up. Upstairs, many bonus rooms over the garage run warm on summer afternoons, so we book them for mornings.

The shared party wall was off limits, so we used the interior wall opposite and swung the screen toward the sofa.

Studs sat 24 inches apart, so we used a wider plate reaching two of them and booked an early August morning.

One price list for Raleigh, Durham, Cary, Chapel Hill and out to Pinehurst and Fayetteville — the wall type does not change the price, and neither does the drive. Oakwood plaster, stacked-stone fireplaces and downtown concrete are billed exactly like drywall.
