TV Mounting in Pembroke Pines, FL

Pembroke Pines filled up fast in the 1990s, when families leaving south Miami-Dade bought new block-and-stucco homes west of Flamingo Road, while Century Village grew into a condo town of its own. Marian, our technician here, knows both: framed interior walls that take hidden cables, and association buildings where the paperwork comes first.

TV mounting in Pembroke Pines is flat-rate: $119 up to 60", $129 for 61–85" and from $179 for 86" and larger, plus $40 for each additional TV. Mounts from $39, cables hidden in a raceway for $39 or inside the wall for $69. No travel fee and no surcharge for concrete block.

Mounting TVs in Pembroke Pines homes and condos

Western communities have block ground floors and framed interiors and upper floors — easy walls for lag bolts and in-wall cables.

1980s–90s homes near Pembroke Lakes are block with drywall over furring; we anchor into the block with sleeve anchors.

Century Village Pembroke Pines buildings are concrete block and frame, with association rules on alterations — sleeve anchors and raceways.

Family rooms and bedrooms

The typical Pembroke Pines job is a living-room TV with hidden cables and a bedroom TV at bed height — a little higher than the living room, 42 to 50 inches to the center — TV height chart.

Moving TVs when you move

A lot of our Pembroke Pines work is people moving between neighborhoods: we take the TVs down at the old house ($49 each), patch the holes and mount them at the new one — dismounting and relocation.

Soundbars, consoles and floating shelves

Instead of a big TV stand, many Pembroke Pines families now go all-wall: TV, soundbar below on its own bracket, and a floating shelf for the streaming box and console. It frees the floor and keeps cables in one short, hidden run.

Garage conversions and patios

Converted garages are common in the older east-side homes; the TV usually goes on the old exterior block wall, with sleeve anchors and a raceway. Covered patios in the west-side communities get stainless hardware and outdoor-rated screens.

Homes in Pembroke Pines by the numbers

67,235 homes and about 173,194 residents. The age and type of a home decide what is behind the drywall, so we check this before we quote.

What this means for your TV wall

With a median year built of 1992 and 56.9% of homes built between 1980 and 1999, most TV walls here date from the same building boom: block exterior walls and framed interior partitions. A framed interior wall takes lag bolts and an in-wall power kit; an exterior block wall gets sleeve anchors set in the block web and a raceway. Townhomes, 13.9% of homes, often share a fire-rated party wall, which we keep closed.

Homes from the Andrew resettlement years

After Hurricane Andrew in 1992, thousands of south Miami-Dade families resettled here, and by 1999 Pembroke Pines was the third fastest-growing city in the country. The houses built for them, from Pembroke Lakes to Pembroke Falls, share a pattern Marian knows well: a concrete block shell, then framed walls inside for the family room and bedrooms. That is why two of every three concealment jobs we do in this city go inside the wall. Before quoting, Marian knocks on and scans the TV wall to learn which of the two it is. On a framed partition, an in-wall power kit plus the HDMI run is $69; the listed kit carries power behind the drywall, so the TV's own cord never sits inside the wall. Mounting a 65- to 75-inch, our usual size here, is $129.

Century Village sub-villages and Pembroke Falls cable

Century Village is a city inside the city: roughly 7,700 condos split into sub-villages such as Hawthorne, New Hampton, Plymouth and Suffolk, each its own association with its own rules. Before Marian drives over, we ask which sub-village you are in, send the certificate of insurance to that office and plan for block walls, so sleeve anchors and a painted raceway are the norm. Pembroke Falls works differently. Its 2,200-plus gated homes reportedly get cable and internet through the HOA's bulk service, so the box and wall jack belong to that provider. We mount around them, never rewire the HOA's line, and route the TV and soundbar connections to a floating shelf or a recessed plate. Homes in Coral Springs and Plantation sit on the same Marian route. Send a request with a photo of the TV wall for a same-day slot.

From our Pembroke Pines job log

A few jobs from the last months — the kind of walls and setups we see here most.

Silver Shores single-family home

  • 75-inch
  • wood studs + drywall
  • tilting

Warm air rose from the fireplace, so we raised the TV 4 inches, tilted it and ran both cords through one in-wall power kit.

Pembroke Falls family room

  • 65-inch
  • framed interior wall + drywall
  • fixed

The outlet sat on the garage block wall, so a power kit went into the framed wall, HDMI to a floating shelf.

Tech: Marian · On site: 2 h 40 min

Century Village condo, Hawthorne

  • 55-inch
  • concrete block
  • tilting

No opened walls: COI sent ahead, sleeve anchors in the block web, slim raceway painted to the wall.

On-site notes from Pembroke Pines jobs

  • Chapel Trail and Silver Shores have HOAs that care about exterior work; indoor installs need no approval.
  • Century Village buildings need a COI for contractors.
  • Many western homes have a recessed niche for the TV that is too small for today's screens — we mount on the wall above or beside it, or on the niche's back wall with a low-profile mount.
  • Silver Shores and Chapel Trail homes often have the TV outlet 16 inches off the floor — plan for a raceway or in-wall kit.

TV mounting in Pembroke Pines, FL: common questions

How much does TV mounting cost in Pembroke Pines?
$119 up to 60 inches, $129 for 61–85 inches, mounts from $39. No travel fee.
My TV niche is too small for my new TV. What can you do?
We mount on the wall above or beside the niche, or inside it with a low-profile mount if the TV fits.
Can you take down TVs at my old house and mount them at the new one?
Yes. Dismounting is $49 per TV, then standard mounting at the new home.
Do you work in Century Village Pembroke Pines?
Yes, with a COI and following the building's rules.
Same-day in Pembroke Pines?
Usually yes.
I live in Century Village. What does my association need?
Usually two things: our certificate of insurance, sent to your sub-village office, and its drilling hours. Most units have block walls, so Marian sets sleeve anchors in the block web and uses a paintable raceway instead of opening walls.
Can a TV go above the electric fireplace in my Silver Shores home?
Yes. All 7 fireplace jobs we have done here were electric. Many push warm air out the top, so Marian runs the heater on high, reads the air at the screen's lower edge and sets the height from that reading.
My TV outlet sits near the floor. Can the cords still disappear?
On a framed interior wall, yes: a listed in-wall kit puts a recessed outlet behind the TV, with the HDMI beside it. On block, a paintable raceway climbs from the low outlet. Same-day visits are common here.
