Mansfield is mostly young brick homes: two-story houses on 50- to 80-foot lots in South Pointe and M3 Ranch, and new townhomes rising downtown. Ivan's Fort Worth crew is here most weeks, so same-day slots are common, and the price is flat across all three counties the city touches.
TV mounting in Mansfield is flat-rate: $119 up to 60", $129 for 61–85" and from $179 for 86" and larger, plus $40 for each additional TV. Mounts from $39, cables hidden in a raceway for $39 or inside the wall for $69. No travel fee and no surcharge for stone or brick.
New communities have straight 16-inch studs, stone fireplaces and often builder pre-wiring. If the box isn't where the TV should go, a new in-wall run is $69. Walnut Creek homes from the 1980s–2000s have brick fireplaces and vaulted family rooms.
Historic downtown buildings are brick with new interiors; businesses get screens anchored into the brick face with cables in a slim raceway, installed before opening.
85-inch TVs are common in the new homes: $129 up to 85 inches, from $179 for 86 and up with two technicians. Mounts for 85-inch TVs.
Covered patios with outdoor kitchens get outdoor-rated TVs on weather-rated mounts; hail season means covers for the connectors. Outdoor TVs.
26,740 homes and about 77,510 residents. The age and type of a home decide what is behind the drywall, so we check this before we quote.
72% owner-occupied · 28% rented
U.S. Census Bureau, American Community Survey 2020–2024 5-year estimates: year built, units in structure, tenure.
Mansfield's median home was built in 2004, and 36.8% of housing went up in the 2000s alone, so most TV walls we open here are 2x4 framing with half-inch drywall, builder low-voltage boxes and gas-log fireplaces faced in cultured stone. Detached houses make up 76.4% of homes, so bonus rooms and covered patios come up more often than condo rules. The 12.0% in buildings of 20+ units are mostly newer apartments, where renters lean toward raceway.
South Pointe sells homes on 50-, 65- and 75-foot lots, and lot width usually predicts the TV wall. On 50-foot plans the family room tends to be narrow and open to the kitchen, so the screen has to turn: a full-motion mount at $69 lets one TV serve the sofa and the island. The 75-foot plans and M3 Ranch, with 80-foot homesites on nearly 900 acres, bring wider great rooms, upstairs game rooms and a stone fireplace that looks made for a TV. Before drilling, Ivan burns the gas logs for 20 minutes and reads the surface; stone veneer is only a facing, so anchors go through it into the chase framing. Westhill Park, planned for about 600 homes on Newt Patterson Road, is still filling in, and its new owners often call before the furniture arrives.

The Main District Townhomes, Geyer Commons and the Water Mill District are adding new homes around a rebuilt Main Street, and townhome walls come with a catch: the wall you share with a neighbor is usually a fire-rated assembly, so we keep cables out of it and use a paintable raceway at $39, or move the screen to an interior partition. For a designated landmark, the city's Historic Landmark Commission reviews alterations, so anything on a facade waits for its answer; inside, the building owner's sign-off is what we ask for. Whatever the address, the TV's power cord never goes inside the wall; for a clean look we use a listed in-wall power kit or your electrician adds an outlet. Check your viewing height with our height tool, then send a request for a same-day slot.

The arm swings toward the kitchen, so Ivan hung the soundbar from the mount itself, with one HDMI to eARC; the bar follows the screen.

The TV went on the shared party wall, so Ivan kept cables out of it and ran a paintable raceway to the outlet below.
