Arlington grew in two big waves: GM-plant ranch houses after 1954, then street after street of two-story brick homes through the 1980s, and Viridian is still adding more. Ivan's Fort Worth crew covers every part of the city with same-day slots and a flat price confirmed before anyone drills.
TV mounting in Arlington is flat-rate: $119 up to 60", $129 for 61–85" and from $179 for 86" and larger, plus $40 for each additional TV. Mounts from $39, cables hidden in a raceway for $39 or inside the wall for $69. No travel fee and no surcharge for stone or brick.
Southwest Arlington and Viridian homes are brick and stone outside with drywall on wood studs, two-story family rooms and game rooms upstairs — cables inside the wall ($69) and anchors through stone veneer into framing.
East Arlington ranch homes have brick fireplaces and paneled dens; UTA apartments need small holes and a removable raceway ($39). Best mounts for apartments.
Game rooms often get two or three screens side by side. We mount them level on a shared line, hide the cables and add a soundbar ($69). Screens 86 inches and up get two technicians ($179). Mounts for big TVs.
Bars and restaurants in the Entertainment District need rows of screens that stay level and cables customers can't reach. We schedule around game days. Commercial installs.
153,137 homes and about 397,742 residents. The age and type of a home decide what is behind the drywall, so we check this before we quote.
54% owner-occupied · 46% rented
U.S. Census Bureau, American Community Survey 2020–2024 5-year estimates: year built, units in structure, tenure.
With 43.1% of homes built from 1980 to 1999, the usual Arlington TV wall is drywall on wood studs, often in a two-story family room with a fireplace chase. Only 26.5% of homes heat mainly with utility gas, so many fireplaces here burn real wood and need a careful live-fire heat reading. And 45.7% of households rent, which is why raceway and small-hole mounts fill a big part of our Arlington calendar.
Southwest Arlington is where we meet the classic 1980s family room: a tall wall, a fireplace in the middle and one obvious spot for the screen. The face is usually cultured stone or brick veneer over a framed chase. Veneer is a skin, not structure, so Ivan finds the framing behind it, anchors there and shims the plate where the stone dips; on brick, sleeve anchors go in full brick, never mortar lines. We have hung 14+ TVs over Arlington fireplaces so far. Because many Arlington families still burn oak on cold nights, the 20-minute heat test runs with a real fire. If the reading is too hot, the TV moves beside the fireplace on a full-motion arm ($69) and swings toward the sofa. Check heights with our TV height tool or read our notes on TVs over fireplaces.

North Arlington is the city's most settled corner, with mature trees and mid-century brick homes. Many date from the boom after the General Motors plant opened in January 1954, when about 125 new families a month were moving to town. Those walls often combine a horizontal brace mid-bay with many coats of old paint, so for hidden cables Ivan keeps openings small and fishes past the brace. Near the ballparks, One Rangers Way opened in March 2025 with 300 apartments, and complexes around UTA turn over every semester. For a lease, we mount into two studs and run paintable raceway ($39) that comes off at move-out. Whatever the wall, the TV's own power cord never runs inside it; in-wall jobs use a listed power kit. Send a request with a wall photo and we reply with a flat price.

The single builder pre-wire box sat where bracket two belonged, so Ivan added a second in-wall kit and one shared run to the media closet.

A horizontal brace blocked the cable run; Ivan opened a second small hole there, fished past it and patched both.
