Twin Creeks two-story family room
The builder's outlet hid behind the mantel, so Andrii heat-checked with the blower on and ran the cables down the chase to it.

Allen grew from a railroad town founded in 1870 into a city of master-planned streets: brick two-stories in Twin Creeks and Watters Crossing, gas-log fireplaces, game rooms over the garage. Andrii, who leads our Collin County crew, handles most Allen visits, often on the day you call, at a flat price.
TV mounting in Allen is flat-rate: $119 up to 60", $129 for 61–85" and from $179 for 86" and larger, plus $40 for each additional TV. Mounts from $39, cables hidden in a raceway for $39 or inside the wall for $69. No travel fee and no surcharge for stone or brick.
Homes from the 1990s–2000s are brick outside, drywall on 16-inch wood studs inside, with a stone or brick fireplace in a two-story family room. We anchor into the masonry face or through veneer into framing, check the heat, and keep the screen at a sensible height. TV over a fireplace.
Game rooms and media rooms upstairs have open stud bays and attic access above — ideal for hiding cables inside the wall ($69) and running HDMI to a closet.
Most Allen family rooms get a 75 or 85-inch TV and a soundbar on its own bracket ($69) connected by HDMI eARC. For 86 inches and up we send two technicians (from $179). Soundbar setups.
Family room, game room, primary bedroom, covered patio — additional TVs in the same visit start at $40, and we do the masonry and in-wall work first to keep the dust in one window.
39,094 homes and about 110,265 residents. The age and type of a home decide what is behind the drywall, so we check this before we quote.

U.S. Census Bureau, American Community Survey 2020–2024 5-year estimates: year built, units in structure, tenure.
With a median year built of 2003, most Allen TV walls are drywall over wood studs in a two-story family room, with stone or brick around the firebox. Utility gas heats 55.2% of homes, and gas logs are what we meet over most mantels here, so every fireplace wall starts as a heat question. The 15.5% of homes in buildings of 20 or more units bring lease rules instead of fireplaces.
Most Allen fireplaces we work over were built into a two-story family room in the 1990s or 2000s, and many have a blower that pushes warm air out under the mantel. That is why Andrii runs the logs for 20 minutes with the blower on before he marks a single hole. The face is usually cultured stone over a framed chase, and stone veneer is not structure: the plate goes through it into the framing, shimmed plumb where the stone dips. In Twin Creeks and Lexington Village two-stories the builder's niche can sit well above eye level; about 1 in 3 two-story fireplace customers end up 12 to 18 inches lower than that niche. Try the height tool before we come, or see how a fireplace TV visit runs. A 75-inch screen mounts for $129, flat.

Allen's game rooms usually sit over the garage, with attic space overhead. That lets Andrii drop HDMI from the attic into the TV bay and send it on to a hall closet. The TV's own power cord never goes inside the wall; a listed in-wall power kit carries power to the screen, plugged into the outlet you already have. If you want a brand-new outlet up high, Allen builds to the 2023 electrical code and that is a job for a licensed electrician before our visit. Covered patios are the other big Allen request; after the spring storms most owners want the screen tucked deep under the roof, and that is where we put it. More than one screen on the list? Tell us each room when you send a request, and Andrii plans the attic runs in one trip.

HDMI runs through the attic to a hall closet, with a second line down the same bay to the soundbar's eARC input.

Too shallow to sit the screen 4 feet back, so Andrii chose a full-motion arm that folds it flat against the brick.
