Woodbridge two-story
Veneer over a framed chase: after a 20-minute gas-log burn, Andrii anchored through it into framing and shimmed the plate plumb.

Wylie is mostly young brick houses between two lakes — Woodbridge in the northwest, Kreymer East near downtown, Inspiration toward St. Paul — and many got new roofs and patios after the 2016 hail. Andrii and our Collin County crew plan each wall around that and can often come the same day.
TV mounting in Wylie is flat-rate: $119 up to 60", $129 for 61–85" and from $179 for 86" and larger, plus $40 for each additional TV. Mounts from $39, cables hidden in a raceway for $39 or inside the wall for $69. No travel fee and no surcharge for stone or brick.
Woodbridge and Bozman Farms homes from the 2000s are brick outside and drywall on wood studs inside, with stone or brick fireplaces. We anchor into masonry faces or through veneer into framing, and cables go inside the wall ($69).
Lake houses vary from 1970s cabins with paneling to new builds with glass walls toward the water. We confirm framing with test holes on older walls and keep the TV off the window wall on the new ones.
Covered patios by the lake get outdoor-rated TVs, weather-rated mounts and stainless hardware; humidity and spring storms are hard on connectors. We don't mount on docks — the structure moves. Outdoor TVs.
Restaurants and shops in downtown's old brick buildings get screens anchored into the brick face with cables in a slim raceway, installed before opening.
19,511 homes and about 60,334 residents. The age and type of a home decide what is behind the drywall, so we check this before we quote.

U.S. Census Bureau, American Community Survey 2020–2024 5-year estimates: year built, units in structure, tenure.
A median year built of 2006 and 82.6% detached houses mean most Wylie TV walls are drywall on wood studs behind a brick exterior, so lag bolts into two studs hold well. Those open plans join the family room and the kitchen, which is why full-motion arms are common here. Utility gas is the main heat in 45.8% of homes and often feeds a gas-log fireplace too — so we run a heat check before marking that wall.
On April 11, 2016, hail up to 5.25 inches hit the area, and in Wylie about 80% of homes were damaged. Ten years on, the rebuild still shapes our jobs. Many back patios were enlarged or re-covered during repairs, so outdoor TVs on brick veneer are a common Wylie request. Veneer is a decorative skin, not structure: we anchor into solid brick units, stay out of the mortar lines and use stainless screws. Replacement covers can be shallower than the originals; we keep the screen at least 4 feet back from the open edge, and when the cover is too short, a full-motion arm for $69 folds the TV flat against the wall. Indoors, insurance remodels brought fresh paint but kept the builder's outlets, so the best TV spot and the outlet rarely line up.

The northwest subdivisions near Sachse and Murphy date mostly from the early 2000s: brick two-stories with a gas-log fireplace, a builder outlet high on the chase and an upstairs game room. In Inspiration, closer to Lavon Lake, houses are newer and the family room opens onto the kitchen. Two questions decide most walls. First, height: we tape the outline and sit on your sofa with you, and our height tool gives a starting number before the visit. Second, power. The TV's own cord never goes inside the wall; we fit a listed in-wall power kit, or on stone faces and in rentals a paintable raceway for $39. Above a gas fireplace, Andrii runs the logs at full output for 20 minutes and reads the surface first. The same crew also works in Allen and Plano.

Andrii set a listed in-wall power kit where the arm swings toward the island; the TV cord plugs into the kit.

The rebuilt cover is shallow, so a folding arm keeps the screen back; anchors went into solid brick, with stainless hardware.
