Hisense ULED U8 Mini-LED (2025) wall mount specs: VESA and weight for every size

The Hisense U8QG comes in 55, 65, 75, 85 and 100". The VESA pattern depends on the size: 400 × 400 mm on the 55 and 65", 600 × 400 mm on the 75 and 85" and 800 × 400 mm on the 100". Without the stand it weighs 39.5 to 136.7 lb; the table has the screws and the US model number for each size.

The Hisense U8QG against its lineup

6 of the 20 Hisense 65" models from 2024 to 2026 use 400 × 400 mm. The others use 400 × 300 (12), 400 × 200 (1) and 600 × 400 (1). 2 of them weigh more than this one. At 53.8 lb it is about 14% heavier than the 47 lb typical of 65" panels, so read the weight rating before the size range.

What changed from the 2024 Hisense U8N

55": 400 × 300 mm and 41.2 lb on the U8N, 400 × 400 mm and 39.5 lb now — new holes, check the old bracket's VESA range.
65": 600 × 400 mm and 56.2 lb on the U8N, 400 × 400 mm and 53.8 lb now — new holes, check the old bracket's VESA range.
100": 600 × 400 mm and 157.2 lb on the U8K, 800 × 400 mm and 136.7 lb now — new holes, check the old bracket's VESA range.

On the 75 and 85" nothing changed from the U8N: the old mount fits.

Screws, studs and height

Hisense lists different screws by size — the table above has each one. Use the screws with that thread from the bracket's kit, and stop if one bottoms out before the plate is tight: a spacer fixes that, force does not.

55 and 65": The holes are 15.7" apart side to side, close to 16" stud spacing, so the mount's arms and the studs line up easily.

75 and 85": The holes are 23.6" apart side to side, wider than 16" stud spacing — pick a bracket whose wall plate spans the studs.

100": The holes are 31.5" apart side to side, wider than 16" stud spacing — pick a bracket whose wall plate spans the studs.

With the centre at 42" for sofa seating, a 65" screen runs from about 26" to 58" off the floor. In a bedroom the centre goes 42–50". Work it out for your own seat →

Can the Hisense U8QG hang on drywall without studs?

No. Drywall alone is for TVs up to about 32" and 30 lb on rated anchors. The Hisense U8QG starts at 55" and 39.5 lb, so it needs bolts in the studs, or masonry anchors in brick or concrete.
