The TCL QM851G comes in 65, 75, 85 and 98". The VESA pattern depends on the size: 400 × 400 mm on the 65", 500 × 400 mm on the 75", 600 × 500 mm on the 85" and 600 × 600 mm on the 98". Without the stand it weighs 51.2 to 147.3 lb; the table has the screws and the US model number for each size.

The TCL QM851G against its lineup

1 of the 12 TCL 65" models from 2024 to 2026 use 400 × 400 mm. The others use 300 × 300 (8) and 400 × 300 (3). 0 of them weigh more than this one. At 51.2 lb it is about 9% heavier than the 47 lb typical of 65" panels, so read the weight rating before the size range.

Screws, studs and height

TCL lists different screws by size — the table above has each one. Use the screws with that thread from the bracket's kit, and stop if one bottoms out before the plate is tight: a spacer fixes that, force does not.

65": The holes are 15.7" apart side to side, close to 16" stud spacing, so the mount's arms and the studs line up easily.

75": The holes are 19.7" apart side to side, wider than 16" stud spacing — pick a bracket whose wall plate spans the studs.

85 and 98": The holes are 23.6" apart side to side, wider than 16" stud spacing — pick a bracket whose wall plate spans the studs.
