The Samsung LST9D against its lineup

2 of the 53 Samsung 65" models from 2024 to 2026 use 400 × 400 mm. The others use 400 × 300 (38), 300 × 200 (7) and 200 × 200 (6). 0 of them weigh more than this one. At 85.8 lb it is about 83% heavier than the 47 lb typical of 65" panels, so read the weight rating before the size range.

Screws, studs and height

Samsung lists M8 screws for the four holes and a 11 mm screw depth. Use the screws with that thread from the bracket's kit, and stop if one bottoms out before the plate is tight: a spacer fixes that, force does not.

The holes are 15.7" apart side to side, close to 16" stud spacing, so the mount's arms and the studs line up easily.

With the centre at 42" for sofa seating, a 65" screen runs from about 26" to 58" off the floor. In a bedroom the centre goes 42–50". Work it out for your own seat →
