The Hisense U7SG against its lineup

12 of the 20 Hisense 65" models from 2024 to 2026 use 400 × 300 mm. The others use 400 × 400 (6), 400 × 200 (1) and 600 × 400 (1). 9 of them weigh more than this one. At 43.2 lb it is about 8% lighter than the 47 lb typical of 65" panels.

What changed from the 2025 Hisense U75QG

55": 400 × 200 mm and 33.3 lb on the U75QG, 400 × 400 mm and 30.4 lb now — new holes, check the old bracket's VESA range.
100": 600 × 400 mm and 132.3 lb on the U76N, 800 × 400 mm and 136.7 lb now — new holes, check the old bracket's VESA range.

On the 65, 75 and 85" nothing changed from the U75QG: the old mount fits.

Screws, studs and height

Hisense lists different screws by size — the table above has each one. Use the screws with that thread from the bracket's kit, and stop if one bottoms out before the plate is tight: a spacer fixes that, force does not.

55, 65 and 75": The holes are 15.7" apart side to side, close to 16" stud spacing, so the mount's arms and the studs line up easily.

85": The holes are 23.6" apart side to side, wider than 16" stud spacing — pick a bracket whose wall plate spans the studs.

100 and 116": The holes are 31.5" apart side to side, wider than 16" stud spacing — pick a bracket whose wall plate spans the studs.

With the centre at 42" for sofa seating, a 65" screen runs from about 26" to 58" off the floor. In a bedroom the centre goes 42–50". Work it out for your own seat →

No. Drywall alone is for TVs up to about 32" and 30 lb on rated anchors. The Hisense U7SG starts at 55" and 30.4 lb, so it needs bolts in the studs, or masonry anchors in brick or concrete.
