Hisense ULED U8N wall mount specs: VESA and weight for every size

The Hisense U8N comes in 55, 65 and 75". The VESA pattern depends on the size: 400 × 300 mm on the 55" and 600 × 400 mm on the 65 and 75". Without the stand it weighs 41.2 to 75.4 lb; the table has the screws and the US model number for each size.

The Hisense U8N against its lineup

1 of the 20 Hisense 65" models from 2024 to 2026 use 600 × 400 mm. The others use 400 × 300 (12), 400 × 400 (6) and 400 × 200 (1). 1 of them weigh more than this one. At 56.2 lb it is about 20% heavier than the 47 lb typical of 65" panels, so read the weight rating before the size range.

What changed from the 2023 Hisense U8K

65": 400 × 400 mm and 56.4 lb on the U8K, 600 × 400 mm and 56.2 lb now — new holes, check the old bracket's VESA range.

On the 55 and 75" nothing changed from the U8K: the old mount fits.

Screws, studs and height

Hisense lists different screws by size — the table above has each one. Use the screws with that thread from the bracket's kit, and stop if one bottoms out before the plate is tight: a spacer fixes that, force does not.

55": The holes are 15.7" apart side to side, close to 16" stud spacing, so the mount's arms and the studs line up easily.

65 and 75": The holes are 23.6" apart side to side, wider than 16" stud spacing — pick a bracket whose wall plate spans the studs.

With the centre at 42" for sofa seating, a 65" screen runs from about 26" to 58" off the floor. In a bedroom the centre goes 42–50". Work it out for your own seat →

Will a mount from the 2023 U8K fit the Hisense U8N?

Not on every size: the pattern changed on the 65". Check the old bracket's VESA range.

Can the Hisense U8N hang on drywall without studs?

No. Drywall alone is for TVs up to about 32" and 30 lb on rated anchors. The Hisense U8N starts at 55" and 41.2 lb, so it needs bolts in the studs, or masonry anchors in brick or concrete.
