Knightdale Station two-story
The 20-minute burn read warm above the mantel, so Illia raised the TV on a tilt and fed power through a listed in-wall kit.

Knightdale is a town of fresh streets: Knightdale Station's 611 homes still filling in, townhome rows at Silverstone and Camden Park, and established pockets like Magnolia Place and Pebblebrook. Most walls here are young drywall, often hiding builder surprises. Illia's North Raleigh crew books same-day visits, finds the studs and hides the wires.
TV mounting in Knightdale is flat-rate: $119 up to 60", $129 for 61–85" and from $179 for 86" and larger, plus $40 for each additional TV. Mounts from $39, cables hidden in a raceway for $39 or inside the wall for $69. No travel fee and no surcharge for brick, stone or plaster.
Single-family homes have gas fireplaces and bonus rooms. Lag bolts into two studs and cables inside the wall ($69) to a recessed box behind the TV. Hiding cables.
Townhomes and apartments share walls with neighbors. Studs on your side only, nothing opened in a shared wall, and a removable raceway ($39) in rentals. Mounting in an apartment.
Many Knightdale floor plans run the living room into the kitchen. A full-motion arm ($69) turns the TV to whichever side you are on. Tilt vs. swivel.
Bonus rooms get 75- and 85-inch screens on heavy-duty mounts, with a second technician for the lift. 85-inch TVs, drywall guide.
8,025 homes and about 20,214 residents. The age and type of a home decide what is behind the drywall, so we check this before we quote.

U.S. Census Bureau, American Community Survey 2020–2024 5-year estimates: year built, units in structure, tenure.
With a median year built of 2008 and 45.4% of homes built in 2010 or later, Knightdale walls are nearly all wood studs behind drywall, good news for hidden cables. The catch: in post-2000 houses about 1 in 5 TV walls we open are framed 24 inches apart, so we plan the bracket for it. Townhomes are 11.2% of homes, and there the TV wall is often the party wall, so we pick an interior wall or keep to your half.
Knightdale Station was approved in 2013 for 611 houses on 251 acres, and Phases 4A, 4B and 7 are still under construction, so many of our calls come from families with boxes in the garage. Builders often set the TV outlet and cable plate at the wrong height for the sofa, or on the wall that catches window glare. We start with the seating, check the spot with our TV height tool, then decide whether to move the cables. On a gas fireplace we run the 20-minute burn before choosing the height. Low-voltage cables go inside the drywall and power rides a listed in-wall kit ($69); the TV's own cord never travels inside the wall. If the outlet sits in the wrong place altogether, a licensed electrician adds one, and we come back to finish.

The newer townhome communities, among them Silverstone, Camden Park and The Manors at Haywood Glen, line units up in rows, and the long living-room wall is often the one you share. We never cut into that fire-rated party wall. Instead we find an interior wall, or mount into studs on your side and run the wires in raceway.
Detached houses in Langston Ridge, Brookfield Station and Knightdale Station usually add a bonus room over the garage, and that is where the big screens go. A tilting mount ($49) suits a short knee wall; the gable wall takes larger sets, and anything 75 inches or more gets a second technician. Illia's crew also covers Wendell and Rolesville, so the same truck often reaches you before lunch. Request a quote and add hidden cables if you like.

The owner wanted the shared wall; Illia used the stair-side interior wall instead and kept every hole out of the party wall.

Studs ran 24 inches apart, so Illia chose a wide-plate arm that catches two, then ran the attic cables on a cool morning.

One price list for Raleigh, Durham, Cary, Chapel Hill and out to Pinehurst and Fayetteville — the wall type does not change the price, and neither does the drive. Oakwood plaster, stacked-stone fireplaces and downtown concrete are billed exactly like drywall.
