Garner mixes two housing worlds: 1960s and 1970s brick houses with fireplace dens near Historic Downtown Garner, and fresh subdivisions such as Auburn Village and Swift Creek Station. Our Garner crew, led by Yaroslav, plans each wall for its era and usually mounts your TV the same day at a flat price.
TV mounting in Garner is flat-rate: $119 up to 60", $129 for 61–85" and from $179 for 86" and larger, plus $40 for each additional TV. Mounts from $39, cables hidden in a raceway for $39 or inside the wall for $69. No travel fee and no surcharge for brick, stone or plaster.
1970s brick ranches have a brick fireplace wall in the den. We check the heat, anchor into solid brick and tilt the TV down if it sits high. Brick vs. stone veneer.
Newer homes near White Oak are drywall on wood studs. Lag bolts into two studs and cables inside the wall ($69). Drywall guide.
Plenty of Garner homes already have a mount from the last TV. We check it fits the new one's VESA pattern and weight; a swap is $129. Will your mount fit?.
Back patios get outdoor-rated TVs with stainless hardware and a sealed cable entry. Outdoor TVs, TVs over fireplaces.
15,043 homes and about 34,473 residents. The age and type of a home decide what is behind the drywall, so we check this before we quote.

U.S. Census Bureau, American Community Survey 2020–2024 5-year estimates: year built, units in structure, tenure.
Garner's median home was built in 2001, and 29.0% of its housing dates from 2010 or later, so most TV walls we meet are drywall on wood studs, sometimes framed 24 inches apart, which changes where the bracket can land. The 18.3% built between 1960 and 1979 is the other side of our work here: brick dens, older paint and outlets placed for a console TV, not a wall mount. We ask your build year when you book.
Near Historic Downtown Garner, where the old Garner High School building now holds a 471-seat auditorium, many houses predate 1978. There we drill only anchor and cable holes, keep a dust shroud on the drill and never sand or scrape painted brick. Every brick den fireplace starts with a 20-minute burn at full output and a surface reading where the bottom of the TV will sit. Too hot, and the screen goes higher on a tilting mount ($49) or onto the wall beside the firebox. Sleeve anchors go into the faces of solid brick, never a mortar joint; if the face proves to be stone veneer, we reach the framing behind it, because veneer is not structure. If the outlet at the TV spot is still two-prong, we stop and your electrician takes over. Read about our fireplace TV service and try the height tool first.

An undated Town development list shows Auburn Village (379 lots) under construction and Swift Creek Station (589 lots) and Bethel (575 lots) approved, so plenty of first TVs go on brand-new drywall. Three things come up. Framing: about one in five post-2000 TV walls we open is framed 24 inches on center, so we confirm both studs before choosing a plate. Power: a TV's own cord never goes inside the wall; we fit a listed in-wall power kit that plugs into the outlet below, and any new outlet is a licensed electrician's job, permitted through Garner's online SmartGov portal. Townhomes such as Avenue at White Oak: the wall shared with a neighbor is fire-rated, so the TV goes on an interior wall. Yaroslav's crew is based here and covers Clayton too; send a quick request for a same-day slot.

Studs sat 24 inches apart, so a wide-plate arm spans two of them; a second technician helped lift.
