TV Mounting in Zebulon, NC

Zebulon is growing fast: Weavers Pond is nearly built out, Sidney Creek has hundreds of lots planned, and the streets near the old railroad downtown still hold tobacco-era houses. Our North Raleigh crew is out on US-64 most weeks, so a TV on a new wall or a ranch den can usually go up the same day.

TV mounting in Zebulon is flat-rate: $119 up to 60", $129 for 61–85" and from $179 for 86" and larger, plus $40 for each additional TV. Mounts from $39, cables hidden in a raceway for $39 or inside the wall for $69. No travel fee and no surcharge for brick, stone or plaster.

Brick ranches, farmhouses and new subdivisions

Brick ranches often have a brick fireplace wall in the den. We check the heat and anchor into solid brick — never the mortar joints. Brick vs. stone veneer.

New subdivisions are drywall on wood studs. Lag bolts into two studs and cables inside the wall ($69). Drywall guide.

Covered porches and shops

Covered porches and detached shops get outdoor-rated TVs with stainless hardware and a sealed cable entry. Outdoor TVs.

What this means for your TV wall

Zebulon's housing is young: 41.4% of homes were built in 2010 or later, and 72.9% are detached houses, so most TV walls we open are wood studs behind drywall, with a builder outlet low on one side. The older stock near downtown and along the farm roads is where brick and plaster show up. With 37.3% of homes rented, we also bring removable raceway and patch-friendly plans for tenants who need the wall back at move-out.

New keys in Weavers Pond and Sidney Creek

The town's June 2024 planning report counted 708 lots in Weavers Pond, 694 already with certificates of occupancy, plus 659 proposed in Sidney Creek. So many of our Zebulon calls come in the first month after closing, before the furniture settles. Builder walls look alike but are not: about 1 in 5 TV walls we open in post-2000 houses are framed 24 inches on center, and the builder's outlet often sits off to one side of where the couch ends up. Illia finds the studs before promising a spot, picks a mount that lands on two of them, and hides the wires behind the drywall with a listed in-wall power kit ($69), never a bare cord in the cavity. A brand-new outlet behind the screen is an electrician's job, and we say so up front.

Tobacco-town houses, ranch dens and porches

Zebulon grew up along the railroad, became a town in 1907 and opened its tobacco market in 1917, so houses closest to downtown can hide plaster, old paint and odd framing. In homes built before 1978 we drill only the anchor and cable holes, with a dust shroud, and never sand or scrape. Farther out, toward Little River Park and the farm roads, many dens have a fireplace burning gas logs or wood. Every one gets a 20-minute burn and a surface reading from Illia before we choose a height; if it runs hot, the TV goes higher on a tilt or beside the hearth. Porches get an outdoor-rated set with a drip loop and a sealed cable entry. Customers in Wendell and Knightdale share the route, so same-day slots open up often.

Studs ran 24 inches apart, so Illia and a second technician spanned two with a wide wall plate.

The gas-log burn read warm above the mantel, so Illia raised the TV and kept anchors in brick faces.

TV mounting in Zebulon, NC: common questions

Do you really come out to Zebulon with no travel fee?
Yes. Zebulon is well inside our 80-mile circle around Raleigh and costs the same as Raleigh.
Can you mount a TV on the brick fireplace in my ranch?
Usually yes. We check the heat, anchor into solid brick and use a tilting mount when the TV sits high.
How much does TV mounting cost in Zebulon?
$119 up to 60 inches, $129 up to 85 inches and $40 for each additional TV.
Can you put a TV in my detached shop?
Yes — on the framing inside, with a raceway or cables inside the wall; an outdoor-rated TV if the shop is not climate-controlled.
How soon can you come to Zebulon?
Usually the same day or the next, seven days a week.
I just closed on a Weavers Pond house. Can you come before the furniture?
Yes, and empty rooms are the easiest. Tell us where the seating will go and Illia sets each height from there; our height tool helps you decide early. Anything 75 inches or larger gets a second technician.
I rent in Zebulon. Can I still get a wall-mounted TV?
Usually. With your landlord's okay we mount into studs only, run the wires in removable raceway and note every hole, then come back at move-out to take it down and patch. A 61- to 85-inch screen is $129.
Do I need a town permit for a TV on a new backyard pavilion?
Not for the TV. The pavilion is the question: Zebulon asks for a zoning permit on every accessory structure, plus a building permit past certain wall heights or costs. Once it is approved, send us a photo and we plan the mount and sealed cable entry.
