Erwin is a small Harnett County town where a 1950s cottage near the old mill site can sit a few blocks from an infill house finished last spring. We read each wall before we drill and can often reach you the same day from our Fuquay-Varina base.
TV mounting in Erwin is flat-rate: $119 up to 60", $129 for 61–85" and from $179 for 86" and larger, plus $40 for each additional TV. Mounts from $39, cables hidden in a raceway for $39 or inside the wall for $69. No travel fee and no surcharge for brick, stone or plaster.
Mill-village houses have plank or plaster walls on old framing. We find the framing and mount into it, never the boards alone. Studs behind plaster.
Newer homes are drywall on wood studs. Lag bolts into two studs; a slim raceway ($39) where the wall should stay closed. Raceways without cutting.
Front and back porches get outdoor-rated TVs with stainless hardware and a sealed cable entry. Outdoor TVs.

Erwin's housing is older than in most towns we serve: the median home was built in 1966 and 44.5% went up before 1960, so many TV walls are plaster or wood boards on old framing, all of it predating the 1978 lead-paint ban. Detached houses make up 86.7% of the stock, so condo and HOA rules rarely come into play. Recent infill homes have drywall over wood studs, where an in-wall cable run is quick.
The first thing Tymofii asks in Erwin is when the house went up, because the answer predicts the wall. Mill-era cottages often have wood planks over the studs, and a stud finder reads nothing through them, so he probes with small pilot holes inside the bracket's footprint, where they stay hidden. Houses from the 1950s and 1960s tend toward plaster on lath, which takes about an hour and a half: slow drilling, a test hole first, and a plaster-rated mount when the screen is heavy. In homes older than 1978 our drilling stops at the few holes the bracket and cables need, a shroud catches the dust, and paint is never sanded. If the TV spot has a two-prong outlet, we pause and let your electrician ground it first. Expect a careful visit, not a slow one.

Erwin's newer homes mostly go up one lot at a time — a 2024 house on 3rd Street downtown, builder plans on Cypress Hollow Lane — so there is rarely an HOA rulebook to clear first. These walls are wood studs behind drywall, the best setting for hidden cables. A listed in-wall power kit ($69) runs from the outlet below the TV to a recessed box behind it; the TV's own cord plugs into that box and never travels inside the wall. Some builders frame 24 inches on center, so we choose a bracket wide enough to catch two studs. A 75-inch or larger screen always comes with a second technician, and a full-motion arm ($69) lets a family-room TV swing toward the kitchen. Details are on our cable concealment page; Dunn and Lillington get the same crew.

Old paint meant just four anchor holes under a dust shroud; the thick plaster ruled out a recessed box, so cables went into paintable raceway.

The wall was framed 24 inches on center, so a wide bracket caught two studs; a second technician helped lift the screen.
