Fayetteville homes run from older Haymount houses on the hill to the 1960s and 1970s Ranches of Westover and Kings Grant and newer builds toward Jack Britt, and more than half are rented. We plan around that, from crawl-space cable drops to landlord-friendly raceway. Same-day visits are common.
TV mounting in Fayetteville is flat-rate: $119 up to 60", $129 for 61–85" and from $179 for 86" and larger, plus $40 for each additional TV. Mounts from $39, cables hidden in a raceway for $39 or inside the wall for $69. No travel fee and no surcharge for brick, stone or plaster.
Haymount's historic houses have plaster over lath. We confirm each stud with a test hole, drill slowly and patch before we leave. Studs behind plaster.
New subdivisions and apartments are drywall on wood studs; a removable raceway ($39) in rentals. Mounting in an apartment.
Before the movers come we take the TVs down ($49 each), bag and label the hardware and patch the holes for the move-out inspection; at the new house we check the old mounts fit the new TVs. Will your mount fit?.
$119 up to 60 inches, $129 up to 85 inches, no travel fee to Fayetteville. What TV mounting costs, drywall guide.

Fayetteville's median home was built in 1984, yet 33.1% date from 1960 to 1979, when subdivisions spread over old cotton fields and pinewoods, and 11.0% are older still. Many of those Ranches may carry lead paint, so we drill only anchor and cable holes with a dust shroud and never sand. With 52.6% of homes rented, a TV wall often needs a landlord's okay and a mount that comes down cleanly before a PCS move.
Much of the city went up between 1960 and 1979, and in Westover and Kings Grant that means single-story Ranches over a crawl space. In about half of our runs here we drop the HDMI and low-voltage cables through the floor behind the TV and bring them up behind the console, so no wall is opened in a house old enough for lead paint. The power cord never rides along; it plugs into the outlet below or a listed in-wall power kit. About a third of our Fayetteville fireplace TVs hang over brick in these dens. We anchor into the brick faces, never the mortar, and high mantels often call for a tilting mount ($49). Every fireplace, gas, wood or electric, is run hot for 20 minutes and checked with a surface thermometer at the TV's spot before anything goes up.

With renters in the majority, about three in four of our concealment jobs here end in removable raceway ($39). Landlords near the gates often allow stud holes and nothing more, so we mount into two studs and run a channel that comes off cleanly at move-out. On post the rules are tighter. About 2,300 of Fort Bragg's 6,104 homes were built before 1960, and its historic houses from 1928 to 1939 come with lead paint and asbestos. We have worked in three on-post family homes, each only after the resident showed us the housing office's written okay. Haymount adds a step outdoors: the Historic Resources Commission reviews exterior changes in the city's historic districts, so porch hardware waits for its approval. Leaving soon? Pair a dismount with the patch, or send a request for an early slot.
