Sweetwater Homes, off Elk Road

Hope Mills mixes a lakeside mill village with brand-new streets off Chickenfoot Road and Elk Road, where Eagle Cove, Maxwell Estates and Sweetwater Homes keep adding families. Tymofii drives down from our Fuquay-Varina base, often hangs your TV the same day, and quotes a flat price before he drills.
TV mounting in Hope Mills is flat-rate: $119 up to 60", $129 for 61–85" and from $179 for 86" and larger, plus $40 for each additional TV. Mounts from $39, cables hidden in a raceway for $39 or inside the wall for $69. No travel fee and no surcharge for brick, stone or plaster.
Subdivision homes are drywall on wood studs with a gas fireplace on the TV wall. Heat check, then a tilting mount ($49). TVs over fireplaces.
Rentals get studs only and a removable raceway ($39), with holes patched at move-out. Mounting in an apartment.
Before a PCS we take TVs down ($49 each) and patch; after one we check that the old mounts fit the new walls and TVs. Will your mount fit?, drywall guide.
Covered back patios get outdoor-rated TVs with stainless hardware and a sealed cable entry. Outdoor TVs.
6,850 homes and about 17,939 residents. The age and type of a home decide what is behind the drywall, so we check this before we quote.
66% owner-occupied · 34% rented
U.S. Census Bureau, American Community Survey 2020–2024 5-year estimates: year built, units in structure, tenure.
Half of Hope Mills is newer than 1995, the median year built, and 76.0% of homes are detached houses, so most TV walls we open are drywall over wood studs. In the newest builds we check stud spacing first, because some walls run 24 inches on center. With 33.5% of homes rented, many visits end in removable raceway and studs-only mounting, and older mill-village houses get anchor holes only, under a dust shroud.
Since the pandemic Hope Mills has added at least five subdivisions and five apartment complexes, and more are on the way: Eagle Cove plans 46 townhomes and 203 houses on 80 acres off Corporation Drive and Chickenfoot Road, and Maxwell Estates proposes 132 lots nearby. Sweetwater Homes adds 75 houses beside The One apartments on Elk Road. A new build usually means fresh drywall and a blank wall with no outlet where you want the screen. We hang the mount on the studs, then hide the wires with a listed in-wall power kit that plugs into the outlet below ($69); the TV's own cord never goes inside the wall. A new outlet higher up is always a licensed electrician's job, and we can work around their visit. See cable concealment, and pick the height with our height tool.

Hope Mills grew up around an 1839 cotton mill, and its historic district is on the National Register. The lake began as the mill pond; after the dam failed in 2003 and again later, the current dam was completed in early 2018. Some houses on the older streets near the water predate 1978, so Tymofii drills only anchor and cable holes, with a dust shroud, and never sands painted trim. On brick fireplaces the anchors go into the brick faces, never the mortar. Out back, a covered porch facing the lake suits an outdoor-rated set on a full-motion arm ($69), mounted well back from the open side so summer storms don't blow rain onto it. Early weekday slots and evenings work around duty schedules, and we often come the same day. Request a time, or compare nearby Fayetteville.

Tymofii ran the insert's heater on high for 20 minutes before marking the bracket; the reading passed, so a gentle tilt was all it needed.

The lease allowed studs only, so the cables went into paintable raceway, and the dismount and patch are already booked for the PCS date.
