Woodland Hills runs from the Warner Center towers around Topanga Plaza to 1970s ranch houses on land Victor Girard planted with trees in the 1920s. Kostiantyn, who leads our Valley crew, mounts TVs on both: apartment drywall and used-brick mantels. Send a photo before noon for a likely same-day visit.
TV mounting in Woodland Hills is flat-rate: $119 up to 60", $129 for 61–85" and from $179 for 86" and larger, plus $40 for each additional TV. Mounts from $39, cables hidden in a raceway for $39 or inside the wall for $69. No travel fee and no surcharge for plaster or brick.
Warner Center is newer mid-rise and high-rise apartments on steel studs over concrete. Lag bolts don't hold in 25-gauge steel, so we use snap-toggles across two studs and a backer for full-motion arms. Leasing offices get our insurance certificate before the visit. Metal studs.
Walnut Acres and the flats are 1950s–60s ranch homes on big lots: wood studs, open bays, and brick or slump-stone fireplaces in the family room. Hillside homes south of Ventura often have plywood shear walls behind drywall — strong walls, but we locate steel posts before drilling.
Summer afternoons regularly pass 100°F. An outdoor TV needs a solid cover over it, not just a shade sail, and an outdoor-rated screen; an indoor set cooks. Mounts are weather-rated with stainless hardware, anchored into framing. Outdoor TVs in LA.
Many family rooms face the afternoon sun. We mount out of the direct line of the window, tilt a few degrees, or use a full-motion arm ($69) to turn the screen as the light moves.
20,946 homes and about 45,889 residents. The age and type of a home decide what is behind the drywall, so we check this before we quote.

Two housing stocks share this ZIP. 40.0% of homes were built between 1960 and 1979, the decades of ranch houses whose family rooms center on a brick or slump-stone hearth, so most house calls start with masonry bits and a heat check. Meanwhile 46.6% of homes sit in buildings of 20+ units and 54.6% of households rent, so many TV walls are apartment drywall over metal framing, where the leasing office decides on holes and cable routes.
Harry Warner's 1940s horse ranch is still filling in. The 2035 Specific Plan made room for about 19,000 new homes, and more than 6,500 apartment units were reported in process in 2026, from the 379-unit first phase of Warner Place on Oxnard Street to the old Fry's site on Canoga Avenue. Many of our calls here come in the first week after a move.

Below Ventura Boulevard and out toward the Country Club, many houses date from the 1960s and 1970s: long family rooms, sliding doors to the yard, and a used-brick fireplace under a deep wooden mantel. Here is how that usually plays out:
| Situation | What we do |
|---|---|
| Brick hearth, shallow mantel | Tilting mount in sound brick |
| Deep mantel, TV ends up high | Pull-down mantel mount |
| Gas logs or insert | Run the flame, measure the wall, then pick the height |
| Window beside the chimney | Stops set so the screen cannot reach glass |
| Open stud bay | In-wall run with a listed power kit, $69 |
FEMA's earthquake guide wants brackets in studs or masonry and limited swing near windows; we treat both as standard. Neighbors in Calabasas share the pattern. Request a quote with one photo of the wall and the mantel.

The lease allowed no wall cuts, so he ran a slim raceway painted on site.

A fire block stopped the in-wall run halfway; one small extra opening behind the screen, patched before he left.
