Two of every three Coppell homes went up between 1980 and 1999: brick two-stories with gas-log fireplaces, builder outlets set too high and game rooms upstairs. Bohdan's North Dallas crew covers Coppell between Irving and Carrollton jobs, quotes a flat price before arriving and can often mount the same day.
TV mounting in Coppell is flat-rate: $119 up to 60", $129 for 61–85" and from $179 for 86" and larger, plus $40 for each additional TV. Mounts from $39, cables hidden in a raceway for $39 or inside the wall for $69. No travel fee and no surcharge for stone or brick.
Family homes are brick outside, drywall on 16-inch wood studs inside, with a brick or stone fireplace. We check the heat, anchor into the masonry face and keep the screen at a watchable height. TV over a fireplace.
Game rooms and bedrooms upstairs have open stud bays and attic access — cables go inside the wall with a UL-listed power kit ($69). Old Town Coppell adds newer townhomes and shops with steel-stud interiors.
Most Coppell family rooms suit a tilting mount ($49) over the fireplace or a fixed mount ($39) on a side wall; full-motion arms make sense in open kitchens. Which mount.
Family rooms double as homework spaces and movie nights. We set the screen center from the sofa, usually 42–48 inches. TV height by room.
16,028 homes and about 42,154 residents. The age and type of a home decide what is behind the drywall, so we check this before we quote.

U.S. Census Bureau, American Community Survey 2020–2024 5-year estimates: year built, units in structure, tenure.
With 65.8% of Coppell's housing built from 1980 to 1999, most TV walls are drywall on wood studs. Utility gas heats 54.7% of homes, and about 3 in 4 fireplaces we mount over burn gas logs, so a heat reading comes before any drilling. Only 0.9% of homes predate 1960, so plaster and lath are rare; the usual surprises are builder low-voltage boxes in odd spots and cultured stone that is veneer, not structure.
Coppell grew in phases: mid-1980s custom streets on bigger lots first, then master-planned tracts nearer Highway 121. In Northlake Woodlands East, between Sandy Lake Road and Denton Tap Road, most family rooms center on a brick fireplace with a wood mantel; Bohdan sets sleeve anchors in full brick, never in a mortar line. Westhaven is newer and built to uniform design standards, so expect builder low-voltage boxes and cultured stone over a framed chase. That stone is veneer, so the plate goes into the framing behind it. Shadow Woods Estates has few houses on oversized lots, and big screens are a regular request; anything 86 inches and up gets a second technician. Every fireplace visit starts with a 20-minute burn at full output and a surface reading. See our fireplace TV service and the brick vs. stone veneer guide.

Around Bethel Road and Coppell Road, Old Town mixes restaurants, the Farmers Market, the Coppell Arts Center and a few apartments above shops. Those units mean steel studs and leases that limit holes, so we use metal-stud toggles and a paintable raceway that comes off at move-out. In the 1990s houses, the upstairs game room is the usual second TV. Attic access is close, so HDMI and network lines drop in from above, while the TV's power goes through a listed in-wall power kit; the TV's own cord never runs inside the wall or in a raceway with the cables. A new outlet behind the screen is a licensed electrician's job with a city permit, and we can mount the same day and let the electrician add it later. A 65- or 75-inch TV is a flat $129; check the center line with the height tool, then send a request with a wall photo.

A fire block crossed the bay. Bohdan opened a second small hole, fished the HDMI past it and fitted a listed in-wall power kit.

Lease allowed small holes only, so Bohdan used steel-stud toggles and a paintable raceway for the cables that comes off at move-out.
