Ashford Park rebuild
The outlet sat far above the gas logs; after the burn test Roman hung the screen lower, plate shimmed plumb on stone.

Brookhaven fits a lot into about 12 square miles: a 1910 golf-course neighborhood around the Capital City Club, post-war streets rebuilt house by house, and apartments along Peachtree Road. Roman's north crew works here most weeks, often same day, at a flat price you see before we drill.
TV mounting in Brookhaven is flat-rate: $119 up to 60", $129 for 61–85" and from $179 for 86" and larger, plus $40 for each additional TV. Mounts from $39, cables hidden in a raceway for $39 or inside the wall for $69. No travel fee and no surcharge for stone or plaster.
Post-war brick cottages have plaster or early drywall on wood studs, often with a small brick fireplace. We check what the wall is made of first; on plaster we drill slowly and anchor into the studs behind the lath. Studs behind plaster.
New builds on old lots have open main floors, tall ceilings and basements. We mount into two studs upstairs, use masonry anchors on basement foundation walls, and run cables inside the wall ($69). Concrete walls.
The new Brookhaven look is modern farmhouse, and the Samsung Frame fits it: flush to the wall, art mode on, one thin cable inside the wall. Frame TVs.
Town Brookhaven apartments have steel-stud partitions and strict lease rules. Snap-toggles across two steel studs and a paintable raceway ($39) that comes off at move-out.
27,504 homes and about 57,855 residents. The age and type of a home decide what is behind the drywall, so we check this before we quote.

U.S. Census Bureau, American Community Survey 2020–2024 5-year estimates: year built, units in structure, tenure.
Two housing worlds share one map here. 21.4% of homes were built in 2010 or later, many of them rebuilds on post-war lots with wood framing and basements, while 30.5% sit in buildings of 20 or more units, where partitions are often steel studs. With 53.2% of homes heated mainly by utility gas, the fireplace under a new TV is most likely gas, so we test the heat before picking a height for the screen.
Brookhaven became a city in 2012, but its houses span a century, and the wall changes within a few blocks. What Roman's crew usually finds:
| Area | Typical TV wall | How we hang it |
|---|---|---|
| Historic Brookhaven, platted 1910 around the Capital City Club | plaster on lath in older houses | slow drilling into the studs, pass-through plate for cables |
| Ashford Park, Drew Valley, Brookhaven Fields rebuilds | drywall on wood studs, poured-concrete basements | lag bolts upstairs, masonry anchors below |
| Lenox Park, Town Brookhaven, Village Place | steel studs, walls shared with neighbors | toggles across two studs, paperwork for the board |
Historic Brookhaven is on the National Register, but that listing sets no rules for work indoors; for a porch TV visible from the street, ask the city first. Renters can keep cords in a painted raceway ($39); steel partitions are covered in our metal-stud guide.

Rebuilds on Ashford Park and Drew Valley lots usually stack three levels: a tall family room with a gas fireplace, bedrooms above, a basement below. Over the mantel the question is height: builders often leave the outlet too high, so we run a 15-minute burn, read the wall where the screen's bottom edge will sit, and settle the height with you using our height tool. Stacked-stone veneer on the chase is only a face; the plate goes into the framing behind it. Upstairs bedrooms are drywall on studs, about an hour. Downstairs, the foundation side is concrete behind furring, about 1.5 hours. Still building? Call before the drywall goes up so a recessed box and a listed in-wall power kit can go in early; the TV's own cord never runs inside the wall. Screens of 61 to 85 inches are $129; see fireplace TVs.

Thick plaster hid the studs; Roman drilled with the hammer off and used a pass-through plate for HDMI.

Furring missed the TV's center, so Roman anchored straight into the poured concrete and checked the plate for flat.
