Palm Beach Gardens pairs 1990s country-club houses with new streets rising at Avenir, and more of its homes heat with gas than almost anywhere we work. That decides where a TV can hang. Marian covers the Gardens, often same-day, at a flat price set before he drills.
TV mounting in Palm Beach Gardens is flat-rate: $119 up to 60", $129 for 61–85" and from $179 for 86" and larger, plus $40 for each additional TV. Mounts from $39, cables hidden in a raceway for $39 or inside the wall for $69. No travel fee and no surcharge for concrete block.
Newer homes in Old Palm, Mirasol and Frenchman's Reserve are block exteriors with wood or steel interior framing, high ceilings and often pre-wired TV walls — we use the conduit that is already there.
1980s–90s homes in PGA National and BallenIsles are block with drywall on furring; exterior walls take sleeve anchors, interior partitions lag bolts.
Lanais are block or concrete columns under a roof; TVs go on the house wall or a solid column, never on screen framing.
Outdoor TVs on lanais get stainless hardware, sealed cable entries, outdoor-rated screens and a tilt to fight glare off the pool — mounting an outdoor TV.
Many homes have a fireplace under the main TV wall; we check the heat before choosing the height — TV over a fireplace.
Larger homes here often have a media room plus TVs in the kitchen, gym and bedrooms. We mount them all in one visit, run HDMI to a central rack where conduit exists and label cables at both ends.
85-inch screens in tall great rooms get heavy-duty mounts across two studs, a two-person lift and a height set for the sofa, not the ceiling.
31,400 homes and about 60,959 residents. The age and type of a home decide what is behind the drywall, so we check this before we quote.
73% owner-occupied · 27% rented
U.S. Census Bureau, American Community Survey 2020–2024 5-year estimates: year built, units in structure, tenure.
The median home here was built in 1995, so most TV walls we meet are drywall on wood studs inside a block shell. The figure that shapes our visits is heat: 11.9% of homes heat mainly with utility gas, more than twice Boca Raton's share, and gas fireplaces follow. With 73.0% of homes owner-occupied, most people ask for wires inside the wall rather than a removable raceway, and we plan the outlet for that.
With so many Gardens homes on gas, the fireplace wall is often the first one people show us. Before anything goes up, Marian lights the fire and reads the wall temperature where the bottom of the screen would sit. About 1 in 4 of those readings changes the plan: a higher spot on a tilting mount, a pull-down mount, or the side wall. Electric inserts get the same check, since their heaters push warm air upward. Stone veneer on a surround is not structure, so anchors pass through it into the block or framing behind. On a block chase the whole visit takes about 2 hours. A pull-down mount is assembled and tuned to the TV's weight for $99; see fireplace TV installation, and test your viewing angle with the TV height tool.

Avenir is the city's newest chapter: about 3,900 homes planned around a 51-acre town center, built by Toll Brothers, Kenco, K. Hovnanian, DiVosta and Akel Homes, with GL Homes selling at Apex. If your walls are still open, ask the builder for wood blocking at TV height and a recessed outlet behind the screen. Already moved in? A TV power cord never runs inside a wall on its own, so on finished drywall we fit a listed in-wall power kit, from $69, or your electrician adds an outlet under a city permit. The city's Building Department on North Military Trail takes those permits online. Our guide to hiding TV wires in the wall covers both. Marian serves Jupiter on the same route, so send a request with a wall photo and he can often come that day.
A few jobs from the last months — the kind of walls and setups we see here most.

No power waited behind the TV spot, so Marian fitted a listed in-wall power kit behind the screen.

The block wall was shared with the neighbor, so anchors went into the webs and a painted raceway took the cords.
