Studio City grew up around the 1927 Mack Sennett studio lot, and Ventura Boulevard still splits it in two: apartment buildings to the north, canyon houses rising toward Mulholland to the south. Kostiantyn's Valley crew works both sides, often the same day you call, at a flat price agreed before any drilling.
TV mounting in Studio City is flat-rate: $119 up to 60", $129 for 61–85" and from $179 for 86" and larger, plus $40 for each additional TV. Mounts from $39, cables hidden in a raceway for $39 or inside the wall for $69. No travel fee and no surcharge for plaster or brick.
Colfax Meadows and the Silver Triangle are 1940s–60s wood-frame houses; plaster in the original rooms, drywall in the additions. Stud bays are open, so cables go inside the wall with a power kit ($69) on most jobs.
New hillside builds use engineered framing and often a pre-wired media box — we locate it with a stud finder and a camera before cutting. Condos on Ventura Boulevard are steel stud over a concrete podium; toggles across two studs, weekday work, insurance certificate on file.
We set the screen height from the main seat, level with a laser, mount the soundbar on its own bracket and set picture modes — a daytime mode for the bright room and a movie mode with motion smoothing off. Soundbars under a TV.
Samsung Frame TVs are popular here. The One Connect box goes in a cabinet or a recessed wall box and one thin cable runs inside the wall, so the screen hangs flush like a print. Frame installation in LA.
16,129 homes and about 32,469 residents. The age and type of a home decide what is behind the drywall, so we check this before we quote.

Studio City leans renter: 54.9% of households rent, and 29.2% of homes sit in buildings of 20+ units, so many visits start with a building manager and a raceway rather than an open stud bay. The median home was built in 1972, before the 1978 lead-paint line; before cutting a wall in an older unit we check how much paint the opening disturbs and switch to a raceway when that is the cleaner choice.
South of the boulevard, streets climb toward Coldwater Canyon and the Mulholland ridge, and no two houses match: mid-century modern, Spanish and Mediterranean remodels, glass-walled new builds around a stone fireplace. That stone is usually veneer, not structure, so anchors go through it into the framing behind. Before choosing a height we run the gas logs and read the wall's temperature; if the spot over the mantel runs warm, the screen goes higher on a tilting mount ($49). Near big view windows, full-motion arms get stops or a tether, as FEMA E-74 recommends. Near the southern edge, homes can fall inside the Mulholland Scenic Parkway corridors, where additions and exterior work face design review. An indoor TV wall is interior work; a patio screen with conduit on the outside of the house is worth checking with the city first.

North of the boulevard, on the streets off Laurel Canyon and Tujunga Avenue, the map turns to apartment buildings from the 1960s and 70s, and most residents rent. A visit here usually starts with paperwork: we issue the certificate of insurance for your management office, in most cases the same day. Then the mount goes into studs, never into drywall alone, and the HDMI and streaming-box cables run in a slim raceway painted to match the wall ($39). The TV's power cord never goes inside the wall or into that raceway; a cord-free look needs a listed in-wall power kit and the landlord's okay. When the lease ends, we can take the TV and mount down before you hand back the keys (dismount and removal). More renter options are in our guide to hiding wires in an apartment.

The arm could reach the balcony slider, so Kostiantyn set its stops short of the glass; HDMI runs in painted raceway.
