Ontario splits into two kinds of TV wall: plaster bungalows and used-brick tracts in the old Model Colony around Euclid Avenue, and new great rooms with builder pre-wire across Ontario Ranch to the south. Oleh's crew works both sides of town, and most requests sent before noon get a same-day slot.
TV mounting in Ontario is flat-rate: $119 up to 60", $129 for 61–85" and from $179 for 86" and larger, plus $40 for each additional TV. Mounts from $39, cables hidden in a raceway for $39 or inside the wall for $69. No travel fee and no surcharge for plaster or brick.
Ontario Ranch new builds are drywall on straight 16-inch studs, usually with a low-voltage box and outlet already behind the planned TV spot. If the builder put it in the wrong place for your furniture, we run a new in-wall line ($69) where the TV should go.
Euclid Avenue and downtown homes range from 1920s plaster-and-lath to 1950s drywall. On plaster we find studs with test holes and drill without the hammer; on the tracts it's two studs, lag bolts and cables inside the wall.
New Ontario Ranch homes have lofts and big great rooms, and 85-inch TVs are common. Up to 85 inches is $129; 86 inches and up start at $179 with two technicians. Mounts for 85-inch TVs.
Inland summers regularly top 100°F. Patio TVs need a solid cover and an outdoor-rated screen; mounts are weather-rated with stainless hardware, and every hole through stucco is sealed. Outdoor TVs.
55,966 homes and about 180,547 residents. The age and type of a home decide what is behind the drywall, so we check this before we quote.

Ontario's median home dates to 1980, yet 14.3% were built in 2010 or later, largely in Ontario Ranch, where walls are drywall on wood studs. The older streets hide plaster, painted brick and old paint we never sand. With 57.9% of homes detached, most of our Ontario jobs are in a house with its own family room and fireplace wall, so the questions are about height, heat and hiding wires rather than condo rules.
Across the roughly 13 square miles of Ontario Ranch, most houses come with a recessed box high on the great-room wall, and owners in New Haven or Park Place expect the TV to just hang there. Oleh opens that box before marking a hole. Some hold only coax and network cable, with no receptacle at all. Then power reaches the screen through a listed in-wall power kit; a cord pushed through drywall breaks code, and we pull it out when we find one. Tall two-story rooms sometimes hide a fire block halfway up, which means one extra opening tucked behind the screen. West-facing great rooms take hard late sun, so a tilting mount ($49) earns its place on a glossy 85-inch. Try the height calculator first, or read how we run cables inside the wall.

The older half of town grew from the Chaffey brothers' 1882 Model Colony along Euclid Avenue. In El Morado Court, built from 1912 to 1922, Craftsman bungalows stand beside Prairie and Pueblo Revival homes, and city preservation staff review exterior changes, which an indoor TV never triggers, so we keep cables indoors. Plaster there is thick and hard: Oleh probes for studs with a thin bit and uses a surface plate when a recessed box will not seat. Older paint gets no sanding, only small openings and a HEPA vacuum. In the postwar tracts near downtown, the TV often goes over a used-brick fireplace with a deep mantel. We anchor into sound brick, never a mortar joint, and test the heat on gas logs before settling the height. See fireplace TV installation; the same crew covers Rancho Cucamonga.
