Alta Loma foothill home
The vaulted ceiling tempted a high mount; Oleh anchored into the brick face just above the mantel and tilted it toward the sofa.

Rancho Cucamonga grew up fast: incorporated in 1977, it nearly doubled its population during the 1980s, and most houses date from that boom. Behind the TV that means wood studs, tall family-room walls and lots of gas fireplaces. Oleh's crew covers the city; morning requests usually get a same-day slot.
TV mounting in Rancho Cucamonga is flat-rate: $119 up to 60", $129 for 61–85" and from $179 for 86" and larger, plus $40 for each additional TV. Mounts from $39, cables hidden in a raceway for $39 or inside the wall for $69. No travel fee and no surcharge for plaster or brick.
Alta Loma homes from the 1980s and 90s have vaulted family rooms, brick or stone fireplaces and drywall on wood studs. We anchor into masonry faces with sleeve anchors and keep the TV at a sensible height above the mantel. TV over a fireplace.
Etiwanda and Terra Vista are newer tract and master-planned homes with straight studs, pre-wired boxes in many great rooms and open bays for in-wall cables ($69) where there isn't one.
Wind gusts in the foothills can top 60 mph. Outdoor TVs here go on the house wall under a solid roof, never on a pergola post; full-motion arms fold flat and lock. Mounts are weather-rated with stainless hardware. Outdoor TVs.
Family rooms and upstairs game rooms usually get a soundbar on its own bracket ($69) and a console shelf. Additional TVs in the same visit start at $40.
60,879 homes and about 175,411 residents. The age and type of a home decide what is behind the drywall, so we check this before we quote.

U.S. Census Bureau, American Community Survey 2020–2024 5-year estimates: year built, units in structure, tenure.
The median home here was built in 1988, and 40.9% of homes date from 1980–99, with another 22.2% from the 2000s. For a TV wall that is good news for us: straight wood studs, plain drywall and few surprises inside the bay. On most visits the deciding question is the fireplace or a vaulted wall's height. Terra Vista townhome owners share a wall with a neighbor, which changes where an in-wall box can safely go.
The city was stitched together in 1977 from Alta Loma, Cucamonga and Etiwanda, and each part filled in at its own pace. North of Banyan Street, Alta Loma houses sit on half-acre foothill lots, and their family rooms are built around brick fireplaces; sleeve anchors go into sound brick and a tilting mount angles the screen down. Terra Vista, planned in the early 1980s between Haven and Rochester, has many townhomes, so we locate the neighbor's wiring in the shared wall before choosing a bay. Around Victoria Gardens, newer two-story homes often add an upstairs loft that gets a second TV. In Etiwanda and the newer Etiwanda Heights, gas fireplaces in tall great rooms mean a heat test before any drilling. A 61- to 85-inch TV is $129, and a tilting mount over a fireplace is $49; see our fireplace TV service.

Fourteen of our 35+ TVs in Rancho Cucamonga went over a fireplace, well above our region-wide share of about 1 in 4. Before picking a height, Oleh runs the fireplace and measures the wall; if it reads too warm, the TV goes higher with tilt. Our height tool shows where your screen's center will land.
Afternoons get hot here: the August normal high at the airport in neighboring Ontario is 94.9°F, so about half of our inland patio jobs use a full-sun outdoor TV, hung under a full patio cover rather than an open pergola.
The city's hazard map marks the Cucamonga and Red Hill faults, so every bracket goes into studs or brick, never drywall alone. Power reaches the screen through a listed in-wall power kit, never a cord pushed through the wall; more on our cable concealment page.
