TV Mounting in Anaheim, CA

Central Anaheim packs a century of housing into a few miles: Craftsman bungalows in the Colony, ranch tracts from the boom after Disneyland opened, and new apartment blocks along Katella. Oleh, whose crew is based between here and Fullerton, takes these jobs himself, often same day, at a flat price.

TV mounting in Anaheim is flat-rate: $119 up to 60", $129 for 61–85" and from $179 for 86" and larger, plus $40 for each additional TV. Mounts from $39, cables hidden in a raceway for $39 or inside the wall for $69. No travel fee and no surcharge for plaster or brick.

Anaheim Hills, West Anaheim ranches and Platinum Triangle towers

West Anaheim and East Anaheim tracts are wood studs on 16-inch centers with open bays — two studs, lag bolts and an in-wall power kit ($69) is the standard job. Anaheim Hills homes add vaulted ceilings and cultured-stone fireplaces; we anchor through the veneer into the framing and keep the TV at a sensible height.

Platinum Triangle apartments are steel studs over concrete. Snap-toggles across two studs, a backer for full-motion arms, and the leasing office gets our insurance certificate first. Metal studs, explained.

Bars, restaurants and short-term rentals

Game-day walls near the stadium and TVs in rental units near the resort need tamper-resistant hardware and cables guests can't pull. We mount rows of screens level and wire them through one raceway, usually before opening. Commercial installs.

The Colony's historic bungalows

1920s homes in the Anaheim Colony have plaster and lath. We find the studs with test holes, drill slowly without the hammer and route cables down a corner raceway where the owner wants to keep the original plaster intact.

Homes in Anaheim by the numbers

U.S. Census Bureau, American Community Survey 2020–2024 5-year estimates: year built, units in structure, tenure. Census figures for ZIP Code 92805 — there is no separate Census boundary for Anaheim.

What this means for your TV wall

In the 92805 ZIP code area the Census describes, 33.5% of homes were built before 1960 and 24.5% since 2010, so one afternoon can take Oleh from a wood-lath wall to a steel-stud partition. Renters are 60.1% of households, which is why so many of our Anaheim requests start with a lease question: may I drill, and may I cut drywall? Older walls mean pre-1978 paint and gas-log fireplaces; newer ones mean leasing-office paperwork.

After 1955: ranch fireplaces in West and central Anaheim

When Disneyland opened in July 1955, Anaheim was still largely farmland; the census counted 14,556 residents in 1950 and 104,184 by 1960. The ranch houses built for that wave are the living rooms Oleh walks into most in West and central Anaheim. Many keep a used-brick fireplace on the long wall, painted white or cream long ago. That paint likely predates 1978, so we drill through it slowly, catch the dust at the bit and never sand. Oleh also taps the brick for hidden mortar patches before choosing anchor spots. Gas logs are common here, so every fireplace install starts with the fire running and the wall temperature measured before the height is set. A tilting mount ($49) keeps the screen comfortable above a low 1950s mantel. Read how we handle fireplace TV installation, or check a viewing angle with the height tool.

Renting near Angel Stadium and Katella Avenue

Six in ten households in this part of town rent, and the newest of them live in the apartment blocks around Angel Stadium and along Katella Avenue, where Vivere stands and neighboring land was entitled for 244 more units. Walls there are steel studs, and management usually wants two things before anyone drills: our certificate of insurance and a written plan. Oleh usually sends both that morning. If the lease rules out cutting drywall, a painted raceway ($39) carries the HDMI and network cables, while the TV's power cord drops separately to the outlet; a power cord never goes inside a wall or a raceway. At move-out the raceway comes away and the wall can be patched. Our renter wiring guide compares the options, and the same crew covers Fullerton next door. Send us a wall photo to book.

On-site notes from Anaheim jobs

  • Anaheim Hills streets are steep; big TVs are carried from the curb.
  • Short-term rentals: we use security screws on the mount so it can't be lifted off.
  • Stadium-area bars book installs on non-game days.

TV mounting in Anaheim, CA: common questions

Do you mount TVs in Anaheim bars and rentals?
Yes — level rows of screens, tamper-resistant hardware and hidden cables, outside business hours.
Can you mount on my Anaheim Hills stone fireplace?
Yes, anchored through the veneer into the framing, after checking the heat.
How much does TV mounting cost in Anaheim?
$119 up to 60 inches, $129 up to 85 inches, no travel fee.
My Colony bungalow sits in the historic district. Can I add a patio TV?
Indoor mounts are routine. Outside, the Anaheim Colony Design Guidelines are the basis for design review of renovations, so anything visible from the street is worth checking with the city first. We usually suggest the rear porch under a solid cover, with the HDMI run kept inside the wall.
How soon can you get to central Anaheim?
Oleh's crew is based between Anaheim and Fullerton, so the drive is short. About 2 in 3 requests that reach us before noon get a same-day slot. Send a photo of the wall and your TV size, and we confirm the flat price and an arrival window.
Is a wall-mounted TV safe in an earthquake?
FEMA's earthquake guide says TV brackets must go into studs, concrete or masonry, never drywall or plaster alone. Oleh pull-tests each mount at twice the screen's weight, and beside big Platinum Triangle windows he sets the arm's stops or adds a tether so it cannot swing into glass.
