Colleyville grew from farmland between Big Bear and Little Bear Creeks into a town of owner-occupied houses on wide lots, from 1990s two-story customs to the gated new builds of Oak Alley. We hang TVs over gas-log stone fireplaces and on covered patios, often the same day you call, at a flat price.
TV mounting in Colleyville is flat-rate: $119 up to 60", $129 for 61–85" and from $179 for 86" and larger, plus $40 for each additional TV. Mounts from $39, cables hidden in a raceway for $39 or inside the wall for $69. No travel fee and no surcharge for stone or brick.
Custom homes have tall family rooms with natural or cultured stone fireplaces. We anchor into the stone face or through the veneer into framing, shim the mount on uneven stone and recommend a pull-down mount (assembly $99) for high mantels. Stone and uneven surfaces.
Barns and workshops can be metal buildings, wood framing or block. Metal buildings need self-drilling screws into the purlins or a plywood backer; we look first and choose accordingly.
Outdoor living is standard here: outdoor-rated TVs on weather-rated mounts with stainless hardware, over the outdoor fireplace or on the house wall. Outdoor TVs.
Long runs to an equipment closet go through the attic and down inside the wall; we use a UL-listed power kit ($69) at the TV. Hiding wires in the wall.
9,403 homes and about 26,012 residents. The age and type of a home decide what is behind the drywall, so we check this before we quote.

U.S. Census Bureau, American Community Survey 2020–2024 5-year estimates: year built, units in structure, tenure.
Half of Colleyville's housing (50.6%) was built from 1980 to 1999, and 96.7% of homes are owner-occupied, so most TV walls are original wood framing behind drywall that owners gladly let us open for an in-wall run. Utility gas heats 75.5% of homes and most family-room fireplaces burn gas logs, so every fireplace job here begins with a 20-minute burn at full output. The newest houses come with builder pre-wire we can reuse or move.
A Colleyville family room from the 1990s often pairs a two-story ceiling with a cultured-stone or Austin stone face running up a framed chase. That stone looks solid, but it is veneer; the bracket's strength comes from the studs behind it, so Ivan finds them before he marks a hole. The face is rarely flat, which is why the plate gets shimmed plumb and why these visits run 1.5 to 2 hours. Height matters as much as heat: builders often set the outlet high, and plenty of owners end up with the screen a foot lower than planned. Sit on your sofa, try our height calculator, then book a fireplace TV install. A 75- or 85-inch screen is a flat $129, and the heat reading comes first, even on a fireplace you only light at Christmas.

Oak Alley, approved in 2019 on the north side, has 34 home lots on gated private streets. New construction like this is where planning saves money. Walk the framed house with your builder and mark three things: the screen's center, the equipment spot (a study closet or a shelf under the stairs) and a conduit between them. If drywall is already up, Ivan cuts a listed in-wall power kit in where the TV hangs; the TV's own cord never goes inside the wall. For a gated street, add the gate code or a visitor pass to your booking note so the van isn't stuck at the entry. Upstairs game rooms get the same treatment, and a soundbar can share the run. Same-day slots open most weeks; send a request with a photo of the wall.
A few jobs from the last months — the kind of walls and setups we see here most.

The builder's box sat 3 feet off center; Ivan cut in a listed in-wall power kit behind the screen and ran HDMI to the study.

The cover was too shallow for 4 feet of setback, so Ivan used a fold-flat full-motion arm and masonry anchors in the brick.
