Park City homes run from 1980s and 1990s resort condos to timber-and-stone houses in Thaynes Canyon and The Aerie, with rebuilt miner's cottages in Old Town. Borys drives up on our mountain days, reads your wall first, then mounts the TV flat, tilted or on a pull-down, often the same day.
TV mounting in Park City is flat-rate: $119 up to 60", $129 for 61–85" and from $179 for 86" and larger, plus $40 for each additional TV. Mounts from $39, cables hidden in a raceway for $39 or inside the wall for $69. No travel fee and no surcharge for brick or concrete.
Mountain homes have two-story great rooms with stone fireplaces and timber beams. We anchor into solid stone or the framing behind it, shim level on uneven rock and often use a pull-down mount ($99) for a high mantel. Pull-down mounts.
Old Town miner's houses are small, old and often rebuilt inside, with plaster, boards or new drywall over irregular framing. We find the real studs with a test hole before mounting. Mounting on stone.
Rental owners want TVs in the living room and every bedroom, mounted solidly enough for guests. We work between check-out and check-in with a lockbox code, send photos when done and use tilting mounts ($49) that guests can't pull off the wall. Condo mounting.
Outdoor TVs by the hot tub see snow, freezing nights and steam. Outdoor-rated screens, stainless hardware and a sealed cable entry under a solid roof. Outdoor TVs.
8,701 homes and about 8,362 residents. The age and type of a home decide what is behind the drywall, so we check this before we quote.

U.S. Census Bureau, American Community Survey 2020–2024 5-year estimates: year built, units in structure, tenure.
Some 45.5% of homes here date from 1980 to 1999, so most TV walls we open are wood framing with drywall, and the stone around fireplaces is usually veneer over studs, not solid rock. About 20.3% of homes sit in buildings of 20+ units, mostly resort condo blocks, so association paperwork and shared walls shape a good share of our visits. With 89.9% of homes heated mainly by utility gas, it fits that most fireplaces we mount over burn gas.
Vaulted great rooms in Park Meadows, Thaynes Canyon and Deer Valley usually put a stone chimney at the center, and the mantel tends to sit 54 to 60 inches up. A flat TV above that lands near 80 inches at its center, so most families here end up with tilt or a pull-down. On a fireplace job Borys lights the fire first and measures the wall above the firebox; roughly 1 in 8 runs too warm, and then the screen goes higher. The stone is usually cultured veneer over studs, so anchors pass through it into the framing; veneer is never structure. A pull-down mount is assembled and tuned for $99. In the Snyderville Basin, county rules have barred wood-burning fireplaces in new homes since 2015; every one we have mounted over there in newer houses was gas.

About 1 in 3 of our jobs in town is a nightly rental: send the check-out and check-in times, the lockbox code and the TV sizes, and Borys works that gap. Guest bedrooms usually get tilting mounts; a living room that must swing toward the kitchen gets a full-motion arm at $69 with a safety strap. In the resort condo blocks we ask the association for its asbestos survey before any cut, and a fire-rated wall to the corridor means a raceway instead. Utah law also bars a condo association from turning us away only because we are not on its preferred vendor list. Old Town, settled by Irish silver miners in the 1800s, differs outside: Park City's historic district guidelines reach decks and exterior changes, so a porch TV on a historic house may need city review first.

We ran the gas fire 20 minutes before picking a height, then anchored through the veneer into the studs.

Crooked framing hid behind boards and plaster; one small probe hole found it, and a painted raceway spared the old walls.
