Colonial off Kildaire Farm Road
Tymofii ran the 20-minute gas burn, anchored into the brick faces, not the mortar, and tilted the screen down because the raised hearth set the spot high.

Kildaire Farms is 967 acres of former Pine State Dairy land, opened in 1974 as Cary's first PUD, where greenways wind past brick-hearth colonials, 1980s contemporaries and Paxton townhomes. Tymofii's west Cary crew is minutes away, so a same-day visit at a flat price is the usual start.
TV mounting in Kildaire Farms is flat-rate: $119 up to 60", $129 for 61–85" and from $179 for 86" and larger, plus $40 for each additional TV. Mounts from $39, cables hidden in a raceway for $39 or inside the wall for $69. No travel fee and no surcharge for brick, stone or plaster.
Colonials and ranches are wood-framed with drywall and a fireplace in the family room. Heat check, then lag bolts into two studs. TVs over fireplaces, drywall guide.
Townhome clusters share walls. Studs on your side and a slim raceway ($39) when the wall should stay closed. Raceways without cutting.
Renters get studs only and a removable raceway, with holes patched at move-out. Mounting in an apartment.
$119 up to 60 inches, $129 up to 85 inches, each extra TV $40; a TV swap on an existing mount is $129. What TV mounting costs.
9,489 homes and about 19,735 residents. The age and type of a home decide what is behind the drywall, so we check this before we quote.

U.S. Census Bureau, American Community Survey 2020–2024 5-year estimates: year built, units in structure, tenure. Census figures for ZIP Code 27518 — there is no separate Census boundary for Kildaire Farms.
Our Census figures cover the whole 27518 ZIP area, so the median year built reads 1998 even though the first Kildaire Farms streets opened in 1974. The share that matters most is 55.7% of homes built from 1980 to 1999: wood studs, drywall and, in many family rooms, a brick fireplace. With 53.2% of homes heated mainly by utility gas, many of those fireplaces now burn gas logs, so we heat-test first.
Brick that climbs to the ceiling over a raised hearth is the signature fireplace wall in the original Kildaire Farms sections. About 1 in 2 of the brick fireplaces we mount over here have that hearth, much as in Lochmere. The hearth lifts the firebox, the mantel ends up higher, and the obvious spot for the TV lands well above eye level. Our fireplace TV installation starts with a 20-minute burn at full flame and a surface reading where the bottom of the TV would sit; if it reads too hot, the screen moves up with a tilt or to the wall beside the chimney. Sleeve anchors go into solid brick faces, never the mortar lines. A tilting mount ($49) fixes most of the viewing angle, and our height tool shows the number before anyone drills.

Exterior changes are where the HOA comes in. Kildaire Farms has a master association for over 1,100 homes, split into Kildaire Farms and Kildaire Farms II, and sections such as Bonnell, Carmichael, Parks of Kildaire and Pebble Creek add a sub-association with rules of its own. Planning a screened-porch TV or a new cable entry through the siding? Check both rulebooks first; we can send the mount's spec sheet. The Paxton townhomes and the 1981 condo-style units on Arbuckle Lane share walls, so we mount into the studs on your half, keep every opening out of the party wall and use raceway or an interior bay. In Corbinton at Kildaire Farm, the 55+ community, we often pair the TV with a soundbar ($69) tuned for clearer voices. Send a request with a photo of the wall.
A few jobs from the last months — the kind of walls and setups we see here most.

The neighbor's party wall stayed untouched: Tymofii mounted on the interior wall opposite and ran the cables there through a listed in-wall power kit.

Clearer dialogue was the goal, so the soundbar went under the TV on its own bracket, on HDMI eARC, with one remote set up for both.

One price list for Raleigh, Durham, Cary, Chapel Hill and out to Pinehurst and Fayetteville — the wall type does not change the price, and neither does the drive. Oakwood plaster, stacked-stone fireplaces and downtown concrete are billed exactly like drywall.
