TV Mounting in Duluth, GA

Duluth sits on the Gwinnett side of the Chattahoochee, and most of its homes went up in the 1980s and 1990s subdivision boom: Avocet, Riverbrooke, St. Ives, Warsaw. Newer townhomes ring the Town Green. Roman's crew passes through on the Peachtree Industrial route, so a same-day visit is usually easy to fit.

TV mounting in Duluth is flat-rate: $119 up to 60", $129 for 61–85" and from $179 for 86" and larger, plus $40 for each additional TV. Mounts from $39, cables hidden in a raceway for $39 or inside the wall for $69. No travel fee and no surcharge for stone or plaster.

Golf estates, family homes and Pleasant Hill businesses

Sugarloaf and St. Marlo estates have two-story great rooms with stone fireplaces and finished terrace levels. We check heat and blocking above the firebox and use masonry anchors on basement foundation walls. TVs over fireplaces.

Family homes from the 80s and 90s are drywall on wood studs with a brick fireplace in the den and a basement below. Two studs and lag bolts upstairs, masonry anchors on concrete downstairs. Concrete walls.

A TV for every generation

Grandparents on the main floor, kids in the basement, parents upstairs — three TVs in one visit is common in Duluth. Each additional TV is $40, and cables go inside the wall ($69).

Restaurants and shops on Pleasant Hill

Menu boards and sports TVs go up before opening. We mount level, high enough to see from every table, and run cables in slim raceways ($39) along the wall.

What this means for your TV wall

Duluth's median home was built in 1994, and 57.8% of units date from 1980 to 1999, so the usual TV wall is half-inch drywall on wood studs 16 inches apart, often with a gas-log fireplace in the family room: 63.9% of homes heat mainly with utility gas. Townhomes make up 16.7% of units, and there we plan the TV for an interior wall whenever the room allows, so nothing is anchored into the wall shared with neighbors.

Three kinds of Duluth homes, three kinds of walls

Most Duluth requests come from three kinds of homes. The 1990s subdivisions (Avocet, Riverbrooke, St. Ives and Warsaw) have wood-framed family rooms, usually with a gas-log fireplace faced in red brick or stacked stone, and either a terrace-level basement or a slab. On brick we drill the brick itself, never a mortar joint. On stacked stone we treat the veneer as a finish, not structure, and anchor through it into the framing or block behind. Around the Town Green, newer townhomes such as Olde Towne Village, Northstar at Duluth and the Cinq collection often put the living room over the garage, with a narrow wall between the stair and the windows. Condos like Sherwood Crossing add association paperwork. For a fireplace TV, the visit starts with a 15-minute burn at full flame and a reading where the screen's bottom edge will sit; a 61–85-inch TV is $129.

Townhomes, rentals and basements in progress

With 43.5% of Duluth homes renter-occupied, many visits here leave no holes beyond the mount. In a townhome the longest living-room wall is often the one shared with the neighbor, so we look first for an interior wall. When cords must disappear without opening drywall, a paintable raceway ($39) runs from the outlet to the screen and comes off cleanly at move-out; our raceway guide shows how it looks. Owners who want everything inside the wall get a listed in-wall power kit, and the TV's own cord never goes into the cavity. If you are finishing a basement, call before the drywall: the City of Duluth's Planning & Development Department reviews residential permits for interior finishes, and we can set conduit and a recessed box while the studs are open. Check viewing height with our height tool, then send a request for a same-day slot.

TV mounting in Duluth, GA: common questions

Can you mount TVs on three floors in one visit?
Yes. Each additional TV is $40.
Do you install menu screens in Duluth restaurants?
Yes, before opening hours, with cables in slim raceways.
How much does TV mounting cost in Duluth?
$119 up to 60 inches, $129 up to 85 inches, no travel fee.
Can you mount a 90-inch TV in my great room?
Yes. 86 inches and up start at $179 with two technicians. Big TVs.
How soon can you come to Duluth?
Usually the same day or the next, seven days a week from 8am to 8pm.
Can you mount on the wall I share with my townhome neighbor?
A shared wall carries sound, and your association may have a say, so we suggest another wall first. If it is the only good spot, we mount on the studs on your side with lags that stay inside them, and send a certificate of insurance if the HOA asks.
My 1990s Duluth house sits on a slab. Can the cables still be hidden?
Yes. With no basement or crawl space below, a run to another wall goes up through the attic and back down, as in many Gwinnett slab houses. On the same wall, an in-wall run adds about 45 minutes, with a listed power kit for the power.
Who will actually come to my Duluth home?
Roman, our first Atlanta technician, leads the crew on the Peachtree Industrial route that also covers Suwanee and Norcross. He has worked here since 2019, and screens of 86 inches and up get a second technician on site.
