TCL Q6 (Q6L) QLED Fire TV wall mount specs: VESA and weight for every size

The TCL Q6L comes in 50, 55, 65 and 75". The VESA pattern depends on the size: 300 × 300 mm on the 50 and 55", 400 × 300 mm on the 65" and 400 × 400 mm on the 75". Without the stand it weighs 19.6 to 50.5 lb; the table has the screws and the US model number for each size.

The TCL Q6L against its lineup

3 of the 12 TCL 65" models from 2024 to 2026 use 400 × 300 mm. The others use 300 × 300 (8) and 400 × 400 (1). 9 of them weigh more than this one. At 35.7 lb it is about 24% lighter than the 47 lb typical of 65" panels.

What changed from the 2023 TCL Q550G

50": 200 × 200 mm and 19 lb on the Q550G, 300 × 300 mm and 19.6 lb now — new holes, check the old bracket's VESA range.
55": 400 × 300 mm and 28.9 lb on the Q750G, 300 × 300 mm and 23.2 lb now — new holes, check the old bracket's VESA range.
65": 300 × 300 mm and 44.3 lb on the Q750G, 400 × 300 mm and 35.7 lb now — new holes, check the old bracket's VESA range.

On the 75" nothing changed from the Q550G: the old mount fits.

Screws, studs and height

TCL lists M6 screws for the four holes. Use the screws with that thread from the bracket's kit, and stop if one bottoms out before the plate is tight: a spacer fixes that, force does not.

50 and 55": The holes are 11.8" apart side to side; the wall plate of the bracket, not the TV, has to reach the studs.

65 and 75": The holes are 15.7" apart side to side, close to 16" stud spacing, so the mount's arms and the studs line up easily.

With the centre at 42" for sofa seating, a 65" screen runs from about 26" to 58" off the floor. In a bedroom the centre goes 42–50". Work it out for your own seat →

Can the TCL Q6L hang on drywall without studs?

No. Drywall alone is for TVs up to about 32" and 30 lb on rated anchors. The TCL Q6L starts at 50" and 19.6 lb, so it needs bolts in the studs, or masonry anchors in brick or concrete.
