The Samsung DU6950 against its lineup
11 of the 42 Samsung 75" models from 2024 to 2026 use 400 × 300 mm. The others use 400 × 400 (31). 41 of them weigh more than this one. At 46.5 lb it is about 25% lighter than the 62 lb typical of 75" panels.
What changed from the 2023 Samsung CU8000
- 75": 400 × 400 mm and 69.2 lb on the CU8000, 400 × 300 mm and 46.5 lb now — new holes, check the old bracket's VESA range.
- 85": 600 × 400 mm and 91.5 lb on the CU8000, 400 × 300 mm and 61.1 lb now — new holes, check the old bracket's VESA range.
Screws, studs and height
Samsung lists M8 screws for the four holes and a 12 mm screw depth. Use the screws with that thread from the bracket's kit, and stop if one bottoms out before the plate is tight: a spacer fixes that, force does not.
The holes are 15.7" apart side to side, close to 16" stud spacing, so the mount's arms and the studs line up easily.
With the centre at 42" for sofa seating, a 75" screen runs from about 24" to 60" off the floor. In a bedroom the centre goes 42–50". Work it out for your own seat →
