TV Mounting in Addison, TX

Addison fits late-1960s complexes off Brookhaven Club Drive, the mid-rises of Addison Circle and the Vitruvian Park apartments that opened in 2010 into one small town, so most TV walls here are rented or condo walls. Bohdan's North Dallas crew handles building paperwork and often mounts the same day at a flat price.

TV mounting in Addison is flat-rate: $119 up to 60", $129 for 61–85" and from $179 for 86" and larger, plus $40 for each additional TV. Mounts from $39, cables hidden in a raceway for $39 or inside the wall for $69. No travel fee and no surcharge for stone or brick.

Addison Circle apartments, townhomes and Belt Line restaurants

Addison Circle and Vitruvian Park buildings are wood or steel framing over concrete podiums. Wood-framed units take lag bolts into two studs; steel partitions take snap-toggles. A magnet sweep tells us which one we have before anything is drilled. Metal studs.

Townhomes in Les Lacs and Addison Place share walls with neighbors. We mount on interior partitions when we can, and on party walls use a raceway ($39) rather than cutting for in-wall cables.

Lease-friendly installs

Most leases allow small fasteners if they're patched at move-out. A slim mount ($39) into two studs and a paintable raceway keep the deposit safe. Renter-friendly wire hiding.

Bars and restaurants on Belt Line

Sports bars and restaurants need several screens in a straight, level row, cables staff can't snag and work before opening. Commercial installs.

What this means for your TV wall

Addison is a town of big buildings: 53.9% of homes sit in structures of 20 or more units and 82.0% are rented, so the first questions are the lease, the management office and whether the wall is wood, steel or poured concrete. A median year built of 1998 means few plaster walls and few old fireplaces; what we meet instead is podium concrete at the lower floors, steel-stud demising walls and wood-framed upper units.

Older complexes, Addison Circle and Vitruvian Park

Addison's apartments came in waves, and each wave built walls its own way. The first homes in town were late-1960s complexes near Brookhaven Club Drive, some still renting; wood studs hold well there, but outlets are scarce and rarely where the sofa faces. Addison Circle followed with 2,141 rental units, 269 condos and 36 townhomes, where steel partitions and concrete columns are common. Vitruvian Park opened almost 400 apartments in 2010 and is headed toward almost 5,000 units, so plenty of residents are the first to hang anything on their wall. We bring anchors for both. Before you book, tell us the building name and floor, and measure from the floor to any window header or soffit. If the screen has to sit low, our height tool shows where its center should land.

Condo rules, rentals and a new outlet

The 269 Addison Circle condos follow the Texas condominium act: owners may change the inside of a unit, but not common elements or the exterior look without the association's written permission, and anything behind the drywall finish is usually common. Bohdan sends our insurance certificate ahead and asks management about concrete before drilling; if they approve, here is how we mount on concrete. The TV's own power cord never runs inside a wall. Hidden cables use a listed in-wall power kit ($69) fed from your existing outlet; see our cable concealment service. Renters can pick a removable raceway instead. A brand-new receptacle is an electrician's job, and Addison permits submitted since June 1, 2024 follow the 2024 International Codes and the 2023 NEC. Send your building and wall through the quote form for a same-day slot.

TV mounting in Addison, TX: common questions

Can I mount a TV in my Addison apartment?
Usually, if the lease allows small fasteners. We use two studs and a removable raceway.
Do you install TVs in Addison restaurants and bars?
Yes — level rows of screens and hidden cables, before business hours.
How much does TV mounting cost in Addison?
$119 up to 60 inches, $129 up to 85 inches, no travel fee.
Do you mount TVs on Addison townhome party walls?
Yes, into the studs of the party wall where fire-rated construction allows it, but we never cut it for cables — those go in a raceway.
Can you mount a TV on a steel-stud wall?
Yes — heavy snap-toggles across two steel studs replace lag bolts, and a backer plate is added for full-motion arms.
How do older Brookhaven-area apartments differ from Vitruvian Park?
Often, yes. The late-1960s buildings mostly have wood studs that hold lag bolts well, but fewer outlets. Newer Vitruvian Park buildings more often mix steel framing and builder cable plates, so we check with a magnet first.
Can my Addison rental take a full-motion arm?
Usually. On steel studs we spread the load with a backer plate, on wood we lag into two studs, and we show you every hole before drilling so you can check the lease. A full-motion mount is $69.
Do I need a permit for a new outlet behind the TV?
A new receptacle is work for a licensed electrician, with a permit through the Addison Service Center where required. Most customers skip it: a listed in-wall power kit plugs into the outlet already below the TV, and we fit it the same visit.
